Great Location, Service, Spacious & Clean Rooms

I stayed at The Flora Kuta Bali with my siblings for 3 nights. We took the deluxe room located on the 1st floor. Superior rooms are located on the 2nd floor. There is no lifts but staff are very helpful to carry our bags down.
Outside the room there's a bench and coffeetable provided for smokers or just chilling. A bamboo structure is also provided to dry your wet clothes from doing water activities. Just a few steps out of our room is already the swimming pool, it is about medium sized but the guests hardly used it so we had the pool to ourselves. Bathroom is big and clean, there is a washer beside the toilet bowl. No bathtub.
Location is good, 10min to Discovery Mall and about 5-10min to Kuta Square. Walk up abit and there's already Kuta Beach. Food is easy to find, shops and restaurants all around Kuta.
Breakfast everyday was the same but cooked differently. (E.g white Fried rice vs red fried rice). It was ok, just to fill stomach before the start of your day. Only knew it served halal food when I was there. So definitely a plus for Muslims.
The negative point for this hotel is the mosquitoes. There are a few found and they will come into the room when we came back to open the door. I got some mosquito bites but its not a holiday dampener.
Overall I loved the hotel and I would definitely stay there again when I'm back in Bali.
Shopping Tip:
Must bargain very hard as prices start high cause they know we are tourists. Threaten to leave the shop and they will definitely lower their price. A lot of shopping stuff at Poppies Lane.

Little Gem on a budget
Location is great if you want to be within walking distance of plenty to do. Great staff.

only one comment on the downside and that was on a previous stay it took a few minutes to get any hot water but on this stay i didnt get any at all. it didnt over bother me but it could be a problem for other travellers. over all a great priced local hotel with lovely staff. even better the bar next to the hotel must just about have the cheapest bintang in kuta.

Im staying 2 night in standard room with new renovated bath room.
There is simple with bigger room with clean.
Large bed but the bed a bit hard to stretch, is not comfortable enough.（ compare with my last hotel (3 star) - at Taman of Ayu hotel at jalan legain)
but i surprise that hotel provided buffer style of western breakfast. Is great for me.
Is just a 10 - 15 min walking destination to Kuta market , Matahari shopping mall & beach side.

Th hotel is situated in a small street off a one way shopping street. This street also has several nice restaurants, which are cheeper than the restaurants in the main street of Kuta. Both via room service and in the bar, the drinks are really very cheep.

The hotel is at a good location which is about 5-15 mins walk to restaurants and Discovery Mall. We in stayed in the standard room, it's small but clean. The hotel swimming pool is also clean, however we do not time to use it during our short stays there. Overall it's a good choice for those who has low travel budget.
