We were upgraded to the suites upon checking in. Love the villas and suites section of the hotel. lots of greenery and very comfortable. We were in a very relaxed mood when in the hotel compound, and yet close to the actions on the street.
Would recommend this hotel for everyone. Great location and great place to rest too.

The haven room is rather small than we expected from the picture, the bed was tiny. Good location and service, pretty noisy at night because the room is too close to its restaurant. Probably the villa and suite room is much better for couple or guests who want to take some private time.

the haven seminyak main is a 2-face hotel. now what do i mean by that? its entrance is located in a very busy street in seminyak. entering the hotel the first time - my initial thought was "oh no this is not gonna be a good stay" as lobby was very close to the busy main street - you can smell the street, the car exhaust and rather noisy. early check-in was not allowed reason being hotel was fully booked - fair enough.
as you step into the main lobby, you will immediately see the haven rooms overlooking the rather crammed swimming pool. it almost felt like everything there was very little space to breathe. nature is obviously not part of the architecture plan on this side of the hotel.
at 3pm i finally got a room. the bell boy walked us through the crammed swimming pool, through the villas before we finally came into the residential suite area.
to my surprise i got my room upgraded from haven room to junior suite (despite the fully booked hotel) - thank u jesus! anyway, it was nothing like what i saw on the other side of the wall (btw, 2 huge walls separate the main lobby and the residential suite area). it was much much quieter, i saw plants sprouting all over the place (in a good way) , it was open door and no roof - giving a sense of space. we have our separate lobby, swimming pool and breakfast place so it was cool.
the junior suite room was nice and spacious but when you start noticing the details like cracked floors, dated marble color , slight stains in the bathroom floor and electric main board that just suddenly popped open - you know that the hotel is not well maintained.
we had huge balcony with day bed and access to living room and bed room which is awesome.
breakfast is just ok rather than good. wifi automatically dropped off after 10-15 mins of inactivity (very irritating).
to sum it up, if you are looking for a quiet stay and looking for the "bali feel" this is not the hotel for you. and only book junior suite or better if you have

Not far from airport in a good location in Seminyak. We booked the hotel room but upgraded to the villa when we arrived- well worth the cost of the upgrade. Just don't ask for villa 307 cos its right next to the hotel wing so the hotel rooms can look into the 'not so private' villa pool. Best breakfast I ever had in a hotel!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Short taxi ride to Kuta even though there is shopping right outside hotel. Turn left from hotel entrance and walk abt 400m to a large supermarket - very well stocked!
