Great location but small room for family

We booked 3 rooms for 1 days with our big fam. We continued our booked 2 days after that...Nice hotel, but the room is small for family with kids. The pool is nice also, our kids love it. Dont forget to taste the pancake for yr breakfast yummy

we continued stay here, the most impressed us is the staff, they are really nice.
btw,, pls make sure you booked hotel or the suites ! its different even the location is near. in my opinion, the hotel is better, cool.
Restaurant Tip:
By walking to the right you can find many good rest eg. Warung Italia, warung Made,etc.

great hotel within close proximity to the beach. only problem booking through agoda when we got to the hotel they did not have any double beds left and had to stay in a twin room with my boyfriend and move our things and check out for the day until we were able to get another room

Frustrating staff, poor room design & stinky rooms

This is my 15th visit to Bali, so I am a seasoned traveller to this area.
On arrival to the Haven, the front staff said that because I had booked with Agoda, I was unable to be given a "queen bed" and had been allocated a twin room. My only answer was "NO" to which they 'found' a queen bed room. The room had a very strong scent of cigarette smoke, and required the airc-onditioning to be on at all times to clean it out.
Once we were allocated to our room, we had to endure a 15minute "tour" of our room. at 9pm it was painful to be shown what's in our mini bar, how to operate a tv, and how to unlock the door on our balcony.
The good part was simply the easy location between Seminyak and our quick trips down to Kuta. The breakfast variety was also extensive.
Finally the room design was very poor for the standard rooms, as there is a simple glass sliding door between the bedroom and main room which I cut my fingers on the door handles rough inner edge and provided zero privacy for toilet use in the tiny room.
Overall the room was not worth the money and one that due to rude service of the staff on arrival & the quality of the room, I would not consider staying again.

this place was very good for the price we paid, about $ usd per night or so. not a five star hotel, but it would be a four star in the us. good pools (i think it has 3, but we hung at the one in the front), the rooms were very clean, staff was nice. try the restaurant in the front. they had an international buffet on monday night that was excellent. location is great, about a 15 minute or so walk to the beach along a road lined with shops. one down side is the "beach club" is small with not enough lounge chairs and very few umbrellas. also, it closes at 5 pm. we sat in the public rental chairs for only rupiah i think. anyway, it wasn't a lot. beach around seminyak is ok, but there is defintely pollution coming from a channel that drains to the beach. you can smell it. in general, bali beaches aren't great. they remind me of the lower end beaches in california, and i don't think california beaches are that great. this hotel is very close to everything.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the restaurant out front. Really good food.

I was given a room near the lobby. The overall experience of the hotel was not very good because of it. Service so so, maybe because it is a hotel with a lot of rooms, and most of the staffs are busy. The only things that I liked was their breakfast esp the pancakes.

we were upgraded which was wonderful but right next to a construction site. which was noisy so say the least. loved hotel but the room looked old and needed updating as there was a big crack on bathroom floor and just looked a bit tired. the service all In all was fantastic and the breakfast was amazing .

Fancy hotel but small rooms and slow service

my first impression of the hotel is that it was very well designed and that it stood out in the busy road of jalan raya seminyak. the hotel staff were friendly and helpful enough, but unfortunately slow to respond to calls and room services. the hotel room as well was too small that i found it was not worth the price i paid. however, i did enjoy myself staying in that part of seminyak given the numberous entertainment around the hotel such as shopping, beach cafes and restaurants as well as spa places. the haven is better suited to group of friends travelling together who are looking to explore and enjoy the buzzing seminyak area and still wants the luxury of nice rooms and comfortable beds rather than couples or families who are looking to linger around the hotel and have a quiet holiday.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the best part of Seminyak beach is about 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel where there are restaurants, cafes and lounge right on or overlooking the beach. I found sitting on colourful bean bags on the beach while sipping colourful cocktails dreamy, plus the sunset view isn't too bad.

Overall the hotell is very good but I would never go back to Seminyak or the Kuta region, although that is of course not the hotels fault. Nice staff and very good breakfast.
