Lovely staff and good location
7.7
We enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was every easy to get around and went shopping. The friendly staff was the highlight of our trip and their service was great! We also liked the cleanliness of the hotel and many pools that were available.
The room was great, but there was some problem with the drainage. Nothing major, I just think some maintenance work might be needed.
In all, we enjoyed our stay and had an absolutely enjoyable time.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be careful when you exchange your money. Ask for big notes as the money exchange people can be very tricky counting your money. They might not give you the full amount as you are busying trying to make sense of the exchange rate and having millions of rupiah in your hands.

Nice hotel, Good Location

First time to stay in Seminyak and if you opt to stay in a hotel rather than a villa, this hotel is sufficient. Clean rooms and all the amenities worked - most importantly those being air conditioning, hot water and a clean bathroom. Unfortunately they did not have a single queen/king size bed for us - only two single beds - so as a couple, we had to sleep in separate beds. A bit miffed but not worth waiting for a room change because our stay was so short. They don't tell you until last minute so expect that. Free wi-fi all over the hotel, even in the rooms. They furnish you with a password valid for 5 days which can be extended and used on multiple wireless devices.
Food in the cafe downstairs was okay. Overall a pleasant small hotel right in the heart of Seminyak.
Restaurant Tip:
Looking for good, authentic Indonesian cuisine? Head out the hotel and turn left - walk down the main road for around 10 minutes, stroll in front of the shops along the way. On your right find the Indo restaurant WARUNG MADE (pronounced "mah-day"). Good, cheap, Indonesian cuisine. Nice local atmosphere filled with locals and tourists alike.

Great staff, good location

We got upgraded to a suite, which was really lovely. Even though there was a construction site next to the hotel, the noise situation wasn't bad as they only worked during the day and we were out most of the time.
We really liked the staff as they were very friendly and helpful.
The availability of many swimming pools was great, which allowed for more privacy.
We enjoyed our suite very much. However, some maintenance work for the drainage might be necessary. I personally found the single bed is a bit small.
Travel tip:
Don't bother booking a car to the airport. Just jump on any light blue cab with metre and it's so much cheaper. From our hotel The Haven Seminyak to the airport cost us only 50,000 rupiah.

Shopping Tip:

Fantastic friendly Hotel. The hub of Seminyak
Location, location and location

In the hub of the shopping precient. Close enough to the beach and nightlife as well as being far enough away to get some sleep. Has all that a traveller needs, nice food, gym, pool and bar. Breky was a real treat.

Lovely hotel, good location but air-con not cold
Many shops along the road.

Is a great place to relax. The issue here is weather is hot and air-con not functioning, that's quite frastrating. The housekeeper said nothing can be done. Part of the hotel is also under renovation, quite dusty.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Kecet and fire dance is worth watching although it took 1.5hrs journey from hotel. Seminyak Square is another plance to shop and eat.

very clean, great design, value for money

When we checked in, we were upgraded to a suite family rooms and its really gave us a great impression for this hotel service. The staffs are pros and they know how to treat guests. The breakfast food has many options and was the best so far. The designs of the hotel, pool, garden and rooms worth 2 thumbs up, pool area and garden was excellent to even just sit and relax for the whole afternoon. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
the best spot was the suite pool area, it has big and cozy lay chairs beside the pool, best time will be afternoon to sit and feel the breeze of Bali with cold beer. Once again, 2 thumbs up!

Great value for money
Clean, modern rooms at a good price
8.3
the haven is great value for money. the standard rooms are what you would expect in any major global city 4 star hotel but in bali and at a great price. the suites are much nicer and up to a 5 star hotel standard. for the money, the suites are the way to go. the staff and service is up to scratch and no omplaints at all. however, if you want the true balinese experience, this hotel is not it. you'll need a villa for that.
