Quality of our suite was comparable to other 5 star Hotels we have stayed in. Some construction was going on down near the beach front. We knew in advance and this was handled well by staff. Spent 6 days at The laguna Resort. Booked beach side day beds on 3 days. Nice way to relax, read, snooze and keep out of the sun. Food was high standard from Breakfast/beachside lunches/evening dining.
Our suite was very comfortable and staff were prompt each morning in refreshing our room. Pools located throughout the resort were a great way to relax and cool off during the day. Plenty of shade in all areas of the resort.
Will stay at Laguna again
Restaurant Tip : Walked to Bali collection (Old Galleria) and had seafood plate at Tropic Restaurant. Lovely meal and good value. Also had great Teppanyaki at the Japanese Garden Restaurant in the same shopping complex.

The service was sublime and the pool was absolutely amazing. There was nothing about this hotel that didn't impress me. I have stayed in many 5 stars before, and this was by far my favorite. One of my bags was held hostage by a transport boat company, and after fighting all day to get it back, it wasn't looking very good. The Chief Concierge was up late fighting my battle for me, then spend hours the following morning to retrieve the bag at the airport after having it sent by plane. All to no cost to me, and without my knowledge until he called the following morning before I left. I was absolutely stunned. The food was amazing, the room was beautiful and overall the hotel is my all time favorite. The pricing wasn't nearly as expensive as so many others in the area, and the quality was by far superior. I was delighted with this resort.
