Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Try the omellette & noodles! We were lucky enough to be chauffer driven into town in their Rolls Royce, so if you do not think everyone will fit into their shuttle bus, wait at the back of the queue and they may pull out their Benz limo or Roller!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
temples,dancing show,elephant ride. You don't need to travel miles to see temples, there are some excellent ones near the hotel.

Lovely, quirky, relaxing, but many cracks

On the surface the hotel looks very welcoming and pretty and relaxing, with many different pool and garden areas. The mix of art around the hotel is a lovely touch along with the quirky grandness of the decor and style of the mansion. But it is all very old and in dire need of restoring. The sheets of our villa were slightly greyed and the towels very worn and even dirty. This hotel has the potential to be magnificent but it needs a full restoration. The bus service into Ubud town is really fantastic and free. The staff are obliging but do not really know how to conduct themselves in a highly professional manner. The breakfast was not too bad, but not great and the chairs and loungers and cushions all around the pool were very dirty and worn. The spa is extremely pricey and you can get the same services for half the prices in town. With a very amazing deal from Agoda, I am glad I stayed here and experienced a very different kind of hotel with its attempt at opulence and grandeur and a relaxing Balinese environment, but not sure I would do so again and definitely not at full price

The Mansion is absolutely excellent, especially the room, it's romantic and clean, I fell in love with the room when i first stepped in. The location is not close to the centre, however the hotel provided shuttle van to and from Ubud Palace, transport is not an issue.

This is like staying in a Mansion.....but the rooms are more in the mood of Ubud.....good staff, nice restaurant, incredible amount of unique items throughout The Mansion.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Spa is expensive....$50 USD for a massage.

had really nice relaxing stay at the mansion in abud.
you are greeted with a welcome drink by the very friendly staff.
i was taken to my room called keranga, very stylish , huge shower & seperate bath tub , comfy kingsize bed + plasma tv with dvd player.
the gardens surounding hotel were very peaceful, and the pool area was nice for relaxing as it was never to busy.
the proximity to abud was about 10mins by car. the hotel offerd a free shuttle service every couple of hours which worked out well.
the breakfast did not have a huge variety , but what they had was enough , and was allways fresh & tasty.
Travel tip:
They have an amazing massage service at the hotel , but it's a bit expensive.

had a great time at the mansion. room overlooking the pool was brilliant and room itself was a decent size. hotel staff were friendly and made sure we were well looked after. would definitely stay at the mansion again out of the hustle and bustle of kuta in the beautiful hills of ubud.

stayed here before liked it a lot very peaceful and quiet just the way we like it .service is very friendly people alway's happy to help you , with organizing trip to the hills or just going into ubud town centre. you can swim all our's of the night and just relax. each room is large and plenty of space between them, over all very good proberly not for the young one's
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
worth seeing mount kintamani , go to the top and have lunch cheep as chips great food, spectacular view.
