Great design, good view, good services

cleanliness, musty

This hotel has a very good modern design but the rooms were not clean and quite musty. The staff are nice and the food is ok. Some part of the hotel is under construction so it could be a bit noisy in the afternoon.

Great design. Like the long narrow swimming pool in centre of hotel grounds. The beach is also nice (but small). Close to other restaurants. Nice hotel staff.

Hotel claims to have wireless internet in rooms, but apparently it doesn't work well in the rooms. In any event, you cannot use the cable access in the rooms either. Stairs (which I didn't mind but others might). Also, hotel was obviously put up in a hurry and the finishing is pretty bad in places - paint peeling off wall.

The hotel exterior is impressive and modern. I was upgraded to the sea view suite on the fourth floor. The view was very nice. I was disappointed to find that the internet availability in the rooms was very poor. I was also disappointed to have to listen to a live singer at dinner singing country and western in a fairly average way. Because the hotel is small the singer's voice could be heard throughout the hotel. It was just such a contrast to the sophisticated exterior. Also, I ordered some ice-cream and they served that awful cheap ice cream made with palm oil.

Restaurant Tip : Popular Italian restaurant to left (opposite side of road) of hotel

Location is right on the beach, swimming pool and sun deck is amazing

the room is very standard and no amenities

This is a really nice small hotel right on the quite beach of Tanjung Benoa. Hotel exterior and outdoor area is amazing. nice sundeck for those who wants to get tanned on the top floor. Room is very standard though, and very minimum facilities. The standard room doesnt have coffee / tea maker , or even shower cap n brush. But overall, this is good value hotel. Location is very nice, and price is very2 affordable.

A very pleasant stay! Guest Rating: 8.7

Directly facing the beach Friendly staff Good spa

Air-cond was leaking, but they fixed it straight away!

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at The Oasis, and the first time I thought it was a wonderful hotel, so it granted a return stay. The first time I stayed in a superior room, so I decided to get myself a deluxe room this time around. Imagine my surprise when I got upgraded to the Tirta Suite, complete with my own swimming pool! It was a really great experience, and the staff were nice enough to let me stay both nights in the suite! Overall The Oasis has never dissapointed me, especially the service, the staff are very pleasant, curteous and polite. The great thing about The Oasis is that it is located right on the beach, so you can literally jump into the lovely sea right from your room. The pool is also magnificent.Overall a stay at Oasis is a good idea for those who want to stay at a nice place that won't blow a whole in your pocket!

Restaurant Tip : The Hotel provides a free shuttle to nearby Bali Collection, where there is a mall and a wide array of nice restaurants. Certain restaurants also provide return shuttle to the hotel if you dine there.

Price is reasonable with newly renovated facility. Nice and helpful staff. Location is good with lots of nice resturants nearby.

Water is not quite stable due to the pumping system. Curtain is not thick enough to insulate the sunshine.

I have some problem with preventing from morning sunshine. We were waked up quite early every morning by the strong sunshine. But the staff are quite nice and helpful. Meanwhile the hotel is just next to a few famous restaurants in Bali such as the Bumbu Bali and Kecak.

Restaurant Tip : It's worthwhile to try the Bumbu bali and Kecak near the hotel. The single set meal is large enough for two persons with a modest appetite.

Calm, good location in Nusa Dua

This hotel is a great place to stay at if you just want to relax and enjoy your holiday. You can lie by the large and long pool or stay on the beach.\nThe hotel offers different spa treatments and also have a restaurant with tables just by the beach. We highly recommend this hotel.

Restaurant Tip : There is a great restaurant just out side the hotel on the opposite side of the hotel entrance.

The hotel have a nice swimming pool and direct access to the beach that located in the back area of the hotel.

The room is relatively poor, has bad furniture and bad odor as well and looks very dirty due to low maintenance. The breakfast is not good, lack of service and limited choices.

The Oasis hotel located at Benoa area which are one of the most popular area in Bali, the hotel have a nice swimming pool with outstanding view and direct access to the beach that located in the back area of the hotel. In term of location, view and swimming pool the hotel is good enough. But the room is relatively poor, has bad furniture and bad odor as well and looks very dirty due to low maintenance. The breakfast is not good, lack of service and limited choices. When I stayed in this hotel with my two small kids, I got a room in the fourth floor and no passenger lift provided therefore we must go up 4 stories if we want to go to our room from the swimming pools area. If you wish to stay in this hotel, please looks for a room in the same floor with the pool since you will have direct access to the pool area from your room.

Hotel Feature Tip : If you wish to stay in this hotel, please looks for a room in the same floor with the pool since you will have direct access to the pool area from your room.

Easy beach access. Nice deco.

Location is a bit far from Kuta.

Stayed in their superior room on the ground floor, which gave me an easy access to their pool. A really short walk to the beach. Go out of the hotel and turn left, and immediately you'll get to Bumbu Bali, offering sumptuous Balinese cuisine. Opposite is a convenience shop. Around the hotel there are many restaurants and shops and money changer, quite convenient in that sense, but those who are into hustle and bustle of kuta will find this hotel to be a bit far.

Restaurant Tip : Bumbu Bali which is just next door. Yummy!

Convenience

Room is just standard

The superior room is quite crowded, because it only comes in two single beds (no queen-sized bed in the superior). Try to get a room in the ground floor because it'll offer you direct access to the swimming pool. The hotel offers return shuttle bus thrice daily from Nusa Dua to Kuta (drop-off point at Oasis Kuta), so when things get boring there, you can taste some wildness in Kuta. A variety of water sports is offered (jet-ski, parasailing, banana boat, flying fish, etc). Don't bother to dine there, go to Bumbu Bali restaurant next door for some genuine sumptuous Balinese cuisine.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A variety of watersports is available around Nusa Dua

Very impressive entrance and outlook of the whole resort.

Service is lacking and slow. Amenities are insufficient. No table in balcony. Unstable water temperature.

Quite a disappointing experience as we expected much more from the looks of the resort. The room was rather bare, and hot water is inconsistent. We had to wait an hour for the water to be hot enough for our bath. Room service takes a long time to respond and they left us a tissue box that was almost empty. And when they brought us a new box, it was a quarter full only. Staff attitude was poor and impatient. We stayed on the 3rd floor and could hear the staff chatting away downstairs, which was quite annoying. On the whole, the resort is just good for looks, nothing else.

It's better to rent a car if you want to roam around the city.

Shopping Tip : Shopping in the city : Avoid dodgy looking shops especially those located away from the main road. The sellers are rude and sound threatening when dealing with their wares. It made us feel uncomfortable.

The hotel has restaurants nearby and you can also rent a car. Oasis is just 30 minutes away from Denpasar and Kuta by car, if you are interested in shopping and surfing.

Shopping Tip : When you are going to shop in Kuta, don't go with people who will tell you they are selling cheap stuff and they will tell you to go with them. They will force you to buy stuff you might not want, so just be careful.
