Hotel needs help in lots of areas!!

There is no real hotel enterance with the hotel being off a side street, so that's off to a bad start especially if you arrive in the evening. Room was totally run down - shower area was full of grime, toliet is tiny and bed was far from comfortable with only 2 small pillows - no extras available. Our tv was cracked and fuzzy. Towels and bed linen was worn. Overall disappointing, despite a lovely pool and it's good location.

True Oasis in Kuta
Beautiful pool and very quiet and relaxing during the day. I was often the only person in the pool which was great for relaxing.

A good hotel for an extended stay in Bali. Close to the beach market and handy to restaurants and bars. The staff were very helpful and the front desk very friendly. Probably won't find many better hotels for the price. Have stayed here on three other trips and will definitely come back.

Hidden Oasis

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights in early June 2010. I have to admit how surprised I was to find how peaceful this hotel is even though it's in the middle of Kuta. It was not an easy hotel to find as it is hidden in a small alleyway.
We had the rooms next to the pool, the rooms are clean enough, a bit small but comfy. Enough to rest after a long day of sightseeing and shopping.
We tried the pool, it is not bad. But we found it hard to lock the doors from our rooms that lead to the pool.
Staffs are friendly & helpful.
Breakfast is very basic, not complaining for the price we paid.
Overall, Oasis is not a bad hotel at all, if you only want to have a room to sleep in, if the priority of your trip is to do sightseeing, shopping or other activities. But if you want a nice resort to lay around all day without leaving the hotel, you might want to choose The Patra of any other resorts and you might have to pay 4X the price.

My pleasure staying in oasis decreasing every time, the first time i stayed it was very pleasant, the second time, a bit less pleasant, but this time i think i will not book this hotel again unless i have to. the room is old, they never renew the bed or the furniture, it was the same as i stayed here 5 years ago, and today the room also smells, its like the previous couple that stayed smoke inside the room and didn't open the room. i would not recommend this hotel to a family travelling with little children, we ask for another room to the receptionist and they said that they are fully booked. I like the swimming pool though, it was about 100 meters long, but dont have any safety equipment, be very careful to those travelling with little children which cannot swim well, there is no lifeguard, the breakfast is fair considering the room rates. the staff are friendly and helpful. It is very close to Kuta beach, shopping area, shopping mall, places of interest in kuta, and legian area, easy to find food.
Restaurant Tip:
theres a good ribs BBQ in poopies lane 2 which is very cheap

the hotel is nearby the airport, its only took around 10 minutes by taxi, the location is very good, it just took 10 minutes to reach the beach and shopping mall. Hotel have a great swimming pool & beautiful view, friendly staff and what i like is value for money, definitely will come back a stay this hotel again.

Our stay was a pleasant one from the time we checked in, we found the staff happy and helpful. The room, though small was comfortable and clean, The general lack of maintenance of the facility is typical of any hotel in Bali. We had no problem with the short access lane to the reception area. We would recommend a stay for its location to the beach, shopping and eating houses.
Restaurant Tip:
if u like traditional food try the Nikmat warung turn right out of the hotel turn right to Flora Hotel and its on the next corner on the left, but be early for lunch, food is excellent and cheap.

Value for money...???
It is a good walking distance to beach and town. Good tour guide outside the hotel.

For this price if i will to compare, i can't ask for much but i have seem some other hotel which is more newer, think i will try other. It isn't as appearing as the photo show especially the room, it abit old and bed not so comfortable as is make up of 2 single bed join together. Air con not strong! Breakfast is so so although they change their menu everyday.
