The hotel is situated just behind one of the main drags of kuta , ensuring that at both daytime and night time, that its a little quieter than some of the other hotels in the area.
The pool is the jewel in the crown of this hotel and is definitely its best feature.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the room service food is pretty dam good. I have stayed at the Oasis over the past few years, and unfortunately like many hotels in Bali it has been left to slowly run itself into the ground. This hotel used to be well maintaned, however this is obviously not of concern to the owners. We had to move rooms as our A/C didn't work in the first room, then in our second room the toilet door was completely broken and despite requests to have it fixed this this didn't happpen for the rest of our 7 days there. You basically get what you pay for in Bali.
Avoid the complimentary breakfast if you can, it still hasn't improved. You can eat at one of the many warungs on the island for what its worth. The Oasis is a great place to stay if you are on a budget, and enjoy plenty of time by the pool relaxing, as this is the best feature of the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel is slowly falling apart and a bit of maintenance here and there wouldn't go astray. The staff are quite friendly and try their best. The food for room service is pretty good , both the local food and western food are good. The location of this hotel is excellent and the ability to go to jimbaran or the other side of kuta to seminyak is easy. If you're looking for a room on a budget then this is one of your best bets. Another advatge of the Oasis is that it caters for up to 3 adults per room , where other budget hotels on the island do not. Overall you get what you pay for.
Nightlife Tip : This hotel is close enough to get to all the nightlife spots of kuta, yet secluded enough that you 'll get a good nights sleep when you're finished partying.

overall location is good(nearby Kuta beach) but service here is not well impress, no one carry baggage for guess but only walk with us and waiting for tip!!!. For room, not working air condition, lots of mosquitos and not clean in room and breakfast is not good too
Shopping Tip : you can find good price for souvenirs at shop located around PuraTirta Empul anyway please 1/3 bargaining

Nice swimming pool, located in the heart of Kuta Room is dark and facilities in room is quite old. Toilet is not clean As I read quite good comment from other tourists on Agoda so I booked Oasis Kuta for one night first and if the hotel was good I would book the rest nights of my trip. But the room was dark with wall and ceiling was not very clean thought the swimming pool view is very big and nice. There is wifi but no computer / business center in the hotel so you couldn't check email if don't bring your labtop. Then I did look for another hotel nearby and moved.
Shopping Tip : You should bargain when shopping there, usually 60 - 70%

Near amenities- within walking distance to Art Market, Kuta beach, Matahari Mall, Kuta Square, HRC etc.
The venue- nice and cozy swimming pool, clean room with clean surroundings, friendly staffs, good location. Poor check in. Bland interior and lifeless room. Air conditioning virtually non existant with poor room facilities. Breakfast is a disappoinment (get more sleep and make your own breakfast for late riser). Ended up paying additional cost for an extra bed which was already in the room Do not get enticed- the pictures on the web looks spectacular BUT do not expect too much from a 3 star hotel like this. I reserved my comments!

rate is pretty affordable
relatively close to kuta centre swimming pool kinda of dark at night.
the road/alley way leading to the hotel is too small for a car to get through, they have fold their side mirror just to get through and the aircon in the unit i'm staying is pretty ineffective. generally, i will say the price speaks for itself.
but still being a budget hotel, i believe slightly more can be done to make our stay more enjoyable.
on arrival, the aircon is found to be pouring hot air. the hotel staff tried to rectify but sadly, it provides little respite.
the breakfast is a buffet which consist of local fare of fried rice, noodles, sausage, bread, fruits etc, which i have no complains about.the staff are generally friendly and approachable.
they have another hotel near Sanur and it seems much nice from the outside.
Generally, I'm satisfied with what i got but hope and certain it can be slightly better.
Shopping Tip : can go to the kuta market which is within 5mins walking. lots of clothing etc there for all to choose...

Oasis Kuta is located in a bustling area tucked behind a busy retailing street in Kuta.It only takes 5-10min by taxi to Hard Rock Bali which cost about Rph5,000.Everything is within reach and lots of shops for good bargain. This hotel has a nice rectangular pool good for a dip anytime. The room is old & tired.Air condition unit is pathetic.The balcony door is not working well, can't close tight. The bathroom is so plain & wooden sliding door is damaged too. Nice medium sized hotel located right behind the busy shopping street in Kuta. Everything is within reach & great for bargain hunters too.The hotel's breakfast is plain & nothing much to offer. A lady staff/waiter was rude to us early in the morning when we asked for a place to seat. Overall, this hotel is just a plain hotel with old bedroom furniture which offer good bargain/location for intended shoppers.

Stayed for 4 nights at the hotel. The rooms is small, door difficult to open and lock. The pool was great. Breakfast not bad, everyday different. Staff not that friendly. But the location is good. About 3 mins walk to MATAHARI shopping mall and kuta square. Less than 10 mins to Kuta beach. Overall, comfortable, value and good location for stay.
Shopping Tip : easy to access to shopping.

massage service closed at 21:00, too early I took a taxi from the airport, but the driver did't know the location.
The hotel locates near the shopping centre, only 5 min to the Kuta Square, you can find many massage shops outside.
Nice welcome drink, pool view (but until 1:00 there's still guests swimming, laughing), clean room (althghou old facility).
I'll certainly stay there next time.

Nice looking from outside.., really quiet place, very pleasant staff, quite good massage therapists. very old interior, needs replacing.. old bathroom.. I have choosen it for our first two nights.. It looked very nice from pistures. The exterior and swimming pool is really excellent, but interior is old. The location is good, really close to everywhere. Close to beach (5 min), close to Matahari shopping centre (5 min), close to main Kuta streets.. Quiet place during nights thanks to location in small sidestreet.
But you can find better place for that money

Central to the shops, value for money, well hidden, great swimming pool and comfortable rooms. Swimming pool - tiles are coming loose. We would recommend this hotel to all our friends - as it was very comfortable. The rooms were always cleaned everyday. We had a pool room which was excellent to wander straight out of the doors and relax in the pool with cocktails. Staff were friendly. The hotel is located to all the shops - Matahari just around the corner and of cause Gloria Jeans coffee. Walking distance to Kuta beach.
Restaurant Tip : Just be very careful were you eat as my husband got food poisoning and was sick for most of our holidays.

Excellent showers Air Conditioning in rooms was virtually non existant.
Breakfast was a mega disapointment - did not relfect the description Oasis is a budget hotel and as such was good value for money- the rooms were basic but clean and fit for purpose. The shower deserves a specialy mention as it was virtually a power shower - fantastic.
The location of the hotel was central enough, yet quiet at night, to be in easy walking distance of nightlife attractions and restuarants.
Two main let downs were the non existant air conditioning in the rooms and the poor breakfast - that said the restuarant immediately next door to the hotel did a fantastic breakfast very cheaply.
Restaurant Tip : Come out the hotel, down the lane to the road, turn right, and on your right is an excellent restuarant - great breakfasts at a very cheap price

- Near the main shopping areas in Kuta
- Hidden from hustle and bustle of the streets
- Nice Pool
- 24 hour room service
- Free wifi at reception & dining area
- Well kept & clean - Double bed is 2 single mattresses joined together
- Staff needs to be a bit more helpful
- Showers are very basic
- Breakfast is fine just needs a bit more variety If you intend to stay in Kuta, the location of The Oasis is good because it is near all the main shopping areas but it is also hidden from the busy streets and is actually quite peaceful inside the hotel.
Shopping Tip : When you walk out the the alley where the hotel's entrance is hidden in, turn left and walk straight down to the main shopping areas.
We turned right and ended walking a big round.

Best swimming pool ever seen for a 3-4 stars hotel.. The room facility is slightly old.. It was a surprise to my husband and I when we first saw the swimming pool of the hotel. The 1st night when we arrived at the hotel was close to 11pm, but there are still room guests hanging around the swimming pool area, enjoying and relaxing.
For improvement, Management should take some efforts to slowly replenish the room facility, particularly the bathroom and toilet, look a bit run down.
Nevertheless, this does not affect our mood of staying at Oasis. It's like a hidden paradise with friendly people all over, be it the staff or the hotel guests.
Restaurant Tip : Warung Made a highly recomneded dining place is just 10 mins walk from the hotel.
