The Oberoi Bali Hotel, Bali

The staff at the Oberoi were amazing. Nothing is a problem for them. The grounds are beautiful and the garden lanai's are lovely. From the minute you arrive until your departure everything is done for you. The lovely trainee at the pool looks after your every need. All in all I would not hesitate in recommending a stay at the Oberoi.

Old classic hotel , my room was very claustrophobic but clean , distance from the lobby to my room like 5 minutes walking.Bar and restaurants overpriced ( a continental breakfast around 30 US. The beach service is very good but the beach depends on the wind , some days the water smells like sewers .

We absolutely loved the stay at The Oberoi Bali Hotel. It was our honeymoon and we wanted to stay somewhere very nice and no doubt I made the right choice. We loved the every minute of it. You have the beach right in front of the beach, so we go surf everymorning and jump into pool right after then a few Bintan beers. The Oberoi Bali Hotel is the place where it offers this incredible time.

This was our third visit, all previous have been booked thru agencies like Agoda. Perhaps due to heavy booking, this time we felt that we were treated less-well than other customers who (might have) paid full price. Our Lanai was among the farthest from the ocean of the 58 villas in the complex. The 'remote' location didn't seem to affect the service though, as when we called for ice or newspapers they were all brought within 5 minutes.

Nice site. There is a large garden and off too. Small rooms 4 4 meters. Security guards. I would recommend visiting, especially for newly-weds.

This hotel is an oasis of luxury in Bali and we enjoyed our stay greatly. This hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed in. It is a well located base to make trips and also offers a great pool and sports/spa for relaxation. If you want to go the highest end of the hotel spectrum and are prepared to pay, prices in the low season is worth splashing out on !

The position is good ,service is EXCELLENT,the rooms are first class and it seems never too crowded.The atmosphere that is created by the ambience is to be admired . This hotel is perfect for honey moons ,romantic getaways or that just a few days to unwind. This is my second stay at the Oberoi and this time I spent 10 days in pure bliss. From the moment you are greeted at the entrance to the sad time you must leave, the staff treat you like royality. The facilities are first class. The room was beautifully presented and came with features not many hotels have, eg there is a marble sunken bath and an outside shower area. Newspapers are delivered every morning and fresh drinking water is complimetary. The hotel luckily does not encourage children so all common areaas are quiet.The 25 meter pool is perfect to do lapses but tends to be a little warm. The poolside staff spoil the guests by providing cold water and face towels,fresh fruit and even clean your sunglasses. I have never been so well looked after in all my 40 yaers of travel. The spa and gym area is really worth a visit and is perfect for that famous Balinese massage or to work off those unwanted pounds. The gardens are large and very pretty.One can stroll through exotic plant life and perfectly groomed lawns straight on to the beach. The hotel provides a lifeguard and surfing equipment.There are too many locals selling their wares as soon as you step on to the beach which can be annoying because of their persistance. The produce for sale is however of very good quality for very little money. The worst part about the Oberoi was leaving it. Thankyou for one of my best holidays ever and see you again next year.

We splurged on the Oberoi and spent more than we've spent on any other hotel. It's very nice with an awesome room, comfortable bed, even a surprise cake on my wife's birthday. We spent lots of time on the beach and the pool and would have been happy to spend all our time there. The only downside is the high cost. Breakfast wasn't even included and cost $40 when we did eat there once. It's a once in a lifetime place, but really, only once with that cost.

We loved it once again having stayed there 3 years ago. We were greeted by name and were told that we were to have a different room. There was just something that made it feel as though we were old friends being welcomed back. Service was attentive but not intrusive. I do not know how they all remembered who we were. The food was good, the room great; free use of Internet and a great dance performance in the evening. What more can I say. We would love to go back again and would not hesitate to book there again.
