Most peaceful 5 star in Bali.
Privacy, service, pool and ocean, gardens, quietness, privacy, lack of hassle, taste, free entertainment, free afternoon teas. It has class.
10
A very handy hotel to all the shopping and entertainment and great restaurants. You are very safe and feel totally at home when you get there. This is out fifth visit there over 30 years and it has`always been up to standard. You aren't pushed around, you can be quiet and there is no noise at all. The place, rooms and villas and all is magic. And to be able to swim in the sea with little interuption is a huge bonus.
Travel tip:
Restaurants - cafes close by.
The Living Room,(great food under romantic lights) Grocer and Grind (geatr for coffee, breakfast, lunch, aircon!) La Lucciola,(down the beach, not cheap) Cafe Bali (solid food and cheap) Warasan (beautiful food, expensive)

Oberoi Hotel Seminyak,Bali.March2010
great staff and service, superior restaurant, traditional Bali ambience, good spa facilities.
9.3
Hotel Service is without peer - the Hotel is not overly expensive but the Service provided by all Staff results in an experience of "affordable luxury". There is an inclusive traditional feel generated by the Bali people and culture augmented by a beach at your doorstep with great beach walks a 'must do' experience.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Hotel Service including Spa facility

The Fabulously Luxurious Oberoi
Service
Staff friendliness
Cleanliness
9.7
I cannot think of anything that I would change about the Oberoi. The location is fantastic with it being just far enough from Kuta for peace and quiet. The service is exquisite. In the entire 10 days, not once did the service disappoint. The staff are always smiling and nothing is too much trouble.
At the pool during the day free water, sun lotion protection and cold towels are provided. In addition, throughout the day small snacks are brought to the lounger to keep you ticking over!
Wonderful, wonderful place. Will be back....
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Day whitewater rafting/ elephant sanctuary with bali adventures - wasn't cheap but great day out...

The Oberoi Bali stay
The hotel is perfectly situated in Seminyak area we hv a great time during our stay and kudos to Agoda for being able to handle our reservation so smoothly. The dining foods are up to par and the enviroment for such an aged hotel i should say is very well upkeep to its standard.
8.3
the oberoi is in general very nice hotel with a world class service that greets you only by your name. during our stay its generally no problem at all goods are nice and hotel is clean with a world class service to compliments execept for their spa service is totally bad. one thing i must stress the free shuttle service just arrive on the dot without miss to legian area. agoda keep it up this hotel is great!

Old School Bali as it used to be
Fabulous position, wonderful staff, beautiful grounds, spacious bathrooms, great understated ambiance
8.7
I stayed at this hotel in 1981 when it first opened and found little had changed - which is not the case with most of Bali. The Oberoi is an oasis in the chaos that Seminyak has become. In particular, the staff were excellent. I would definately go back, and would have used more of the hotel's facilities if the prices were more reasonable
Travel tip:
The hotel puts on a wonderful music and dance performance twice a week which is complementary for guests and not to be missed. The Rock Bar at the Ayana hotel in Jimbaran Bay is a must for spectacular sunset viewing - very affordable prices given the standard of the venue

paradise in seminyak
this is a paradise lost in the increasingly built up area of seminyak.
The hotel is truly wonderful. The accommodation is superb, the restaurant is really excellent and the smiling, kind and professional staff make this the ideal holiday retreat.
2.7
I am recommnending the Bali Oberoi to my friends, but I am also suggesting they go and stay some of the time at the Lombok oberoi. Unfortunately I have not stayed there yet, but will defintely include it in my next visit as I have heard from people who have stayed there that it is also truly wonderful and the two hotels complement each other.

The Oberoi Hotel Bali
We loved the Oberoi, it had a very pleasant charm and the service was absolutley amazing. I received a cake and flowers for my birthday, they must have looked at the passport and realised that it was my birthday. We thought that was exceptional service.

We found the Oberoi a very charming, elite and special place to stay. We loved the privacy of the villas and the impeccable service, from the staff was amazing. We enjoyed the afternoon teas around the pool and the way the staff brought out water and sunscreen to you while you were at the pool. The restaurant was absolutely fantastic with top class service. They even spoke to us by our names and we felt very special. We also noticed how the security was on the ball and in touch with people coming and going. The staff were very friendly and obliging in every way. We would recommend the Oberoi for wonderful holiday.
Restaurant Tip:
The restuarants in Eat Street down the road from the Oberoi were great. The Living Room and Sarong were fantastic.

Seminyak Iconic Hotel
Location, ambiance and food make this hotel a fantastic stay.
9.7
This hotel is jointly owned by an Indian and Balinese family. The hotel is a Seminyak landmark of sorts and one of the most tasteful hotels I have ever had the privilege of enjoying. The food is excellent, the weekly dance performance and the garden areas make the hotel a dreamy stay. The proximity to the beach and the view from the breakfast area is amazing.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Sunset walk on the beach and the dancing on Thursday nights should not be missed.
