Wonderful hotel with attentive staff, on the beach

It is a beautiful hotel in a very exclusive part of Seminyak, right on the beach. Lovely lounge chairs next to the swimmming pool face the sea. It is the only part of the beach that does not have sun chairs so you have a great unobstructed view of the Indian Ocean.
Beautiful bungalows, very nice Balinese furniture, great bathroom and quality toiletry products.
Good wifi, great in-room dining, excellent breakfasts (though expensive).
Reliable car service
Loved every minute of our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Oberoi. The room wasnt the best room we have ever stayed in but the service, location and fantastic night sleep more than made up for the slightly dated room decor.

Nice hotel located on the beach

The hotel stay was wonderful. The location is set right on the beach in busy Seminyak. There is plenty of shopping right outside the hotel. The grounds are nice and manicured. Food was good as well. The pool area is relaxing. The staff were well-trained and pleasant. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay.

When we first enter the hotel, we are escorted by one of the receptionist and followed by welcome drinks. After the check-in she escort us all the way to our villa and explains the features in our room.

The Oberoi is a great hotel for a fabulous, quiet, restful vacation. Great lanias, beautifully appointed, wonderful, friendly and professional staff. They anticipated our every need. The food is great but a little pricey. However, a short walk or cab ride outside the main gate will take you to excellent restaurants and great shopping. We will go back again.
Restaurant Tip:
There are several really quality restaurants in the Seminyak area. Two that we especially liked were Sarong and Sardine, both first class in food, service and ambience.

overall great hotel, we asked for a twin share which was basically a king bed split into two twins which was a bit disappointing. however the bathroom was amazing and the service, pool setup overlooking beach was very relaxing. would have been great if breakfast was included in the deal.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Located next door to the infamous Ku De Ta restaurant/bar so walking distance - just make sure you book ahead as it is popular and gets booked out quickly. Food at Ku De Ta is amazing and really cool vibe.

Everything was to the standard one would expect of the Oberoi Group but the rooms felt and looked a tad shabby certainly compared to all the other Oberoi Resort hotels we have stayed in.
Money needs to be spent.
