Spacious Room Location Staffs Good breakfast spread

Small coffee house

Room is spacious, very clean and new. Superb location, walking distance to shopping malls and markets. Surrounded by restaurants. Love the pool area, quiet and serene. Staffs are friendly and helpful especially reception and conceirge. Beach is just across the road. Highly recommended.

Restaurant Tip : Kunyit Bali Restaurant serves authentic Balinese Cuisine, good food, excellent food presentation, worth the price, although a bit pricy Garis Garis which is just across the hotel, serves excellent Pasta. Prices are reasonable.

Minimalist design, close proximity to shops and restaurants

Breakfast could do with more variety

We like The Rani. It’s a small boutique hotel that is minimalist in design with a well balanced modern and Balinese feel. Though it boasts neither an impressive driveway, nor a breathtaking view of the ocean, nor an immaculately landscaped compound equipped with various sporting facilities….i.e. the grandeur of typical huge resorts which are plentiful in Bali, it certainly exudes its own pleasant sense of unassuming charm and hospitality. All rooms have a balcony that faces the pool, which is adequate in size with about a dozen deck chairs. Our room is clean, comfortable and spacious. I was pleasantly surprised to see a built-in toilet seat spray system that is usually not a standard feature in most high end hotels, let alone boutique ones. Overall, The Rani is great for couples who appreciate simple luxury, not ideal for families with kids due to its lack of space and child-friendly facilities.

Restaurant Tip : Mini Seafood Restaurant, a stone-throw away on the left of the hotel. Chi-chi's mexican restaurant, next to The Reverse Bungee whcih is near Waterboom Park

Able to accomodate our request to check out later at 2pm. Managed to borrow a adaptor for my handphone charger. Well done Bali and all staff from The Rani Hotel and Spa. Even the security guards are friendly.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Cheaper to approach the drivers directly for car rental than travel booths. Take metered taxis from Blue Bird Grp as other taxis need price bargaining. Visit Tanah Lot during low tide and sun set, beautiful. A must to visit the scenic Kintamani and Uluwatu but beware of the aggressive monkeys there.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Once we were looking for an adaptor in the middle of the night, they were nice enough to bring us one to our room, Our hotel rooms were very nice and had a balcony overlooking the swimming pool, clean facility, quiet. Walking distance to Discovery Mall

Couldn't think much of any bad thing about this hotel, so i give it a 4 star!

The hotel staff is very accomodating, friendly and helpful. Even gave us tips on tour packages to avoid getting ripped off. Location is very convenient as we can just walk around Kuta area from the hotel. Many nearby restaurants, bars and convenient stores. Overall, if you want value for money, this is the right place to stay in Bali.

the rooms were huge, fresh and clean. breakfast is amazing!

pretty far away from the beach, no view. also it looked like a few cheaper hotels were closer to the center and equally nice

the hotel as a facility is nice - quality building, friendly and diligent staff, good food. still it's a bit far away from the downtown and the beach - probably the last nice hotel in that end. so we normally had to walk about 20 minutes one way which may be too much in the heat. there are mainly asian tourists there, which is ok except for the fact that sometimes they won't manage their kids. they'll be running and screaming at 5 am and the staff won't interfere - you want peace, you go talk to the parents.

Hotel Feature Tip : consider nearby hotels closer to the downtown

Pool good for laps. Nicely decorated clean room. Safe box in room. Central Kuta location (transport right outside). Very good breakfast.

Not a great resort hotel if you like beaches, because the nearest access to the beach is a hike down the main Kuta road (choked with cars, treeless) and then down a narrow street past grotty dumping ground for garbage. Takes 10 mins just to go this circuitous route.

Going to Bali on business? It's a great base for hitting any number of outlets in the Kuta area. Super clean and safe little hotel with a few Indonesian businessmen and maybe a few more Taiwanese, Javanese, and other tourists. Street noise did not impinge on rooms, which face a central pool courtyard.

Shopping Tip : Very close to Taiwanese owned Lemon Tree salon for decent foot massage or manicure / pedicure in an air conditioned atmosphere.

Hotel is very quiet and peaceful Room is clean and staffs are friendly breakfast is decent with wide varieties

room is small

Had a pleasant stay at The Rani Hotel & Spa Bali, the room is quite small, but the place is very quiet. it's good to have a afternoon swim to cool ourselves in the hote weather. The hotel is located near to the Discovery Mall, along the way there's plenty of shops along the streets. With it's great facilities and location, i would recommend this hotel to friends.

Booked 2 nights and decided to extend - a good choice for those who do not want to spend much time at their hotel, but want to spend time on the beach, or shopping.
