Even tea and toast would have been nice as we had to catch an early flight.
MORE MILK needed in the room.... two is NOT enough. Our initial friendly greetings by the desk clerk laid the way for a pleasant stay at your hotel. We arrived late ( compliments of Garuda )and enjoyed a lovely night's sleep.The place was quiet and the ambience palpable. Just remember that early leavers need nourishment as well and you should offer some form of easy breakfast in the room. We could not even make tea as there was not enough milk left over from having 2 cups the night before.
Hotel Feature Tip : Close to the airport but don't expect an earlt breakfast and the staff skimps on milk etc

Clean, quite & nice design. The american b/fast is not up to standard & many of the hotel staff are not really english speaking. I personally felt this hotel is not worth the price. It's a very small scale hotel, but the interior of the room is nice. I feel there would be some other hotel with lower price around Kuta. I only spent 1 night in Kuta (as planned) & found out that many of the 3 stars hotels in kuta town seem to be quite nice & clean.

Well-maintained, decent service, good location Would like pool to be larger. Had a decent stay at the Rani Hotel but was not overly excited. The Rani offered somewhat decent value for the money compared to other hotels in the area but the experience was not memorable. If you are looking for a decent hotel with decent service and decent location, the Rani is a safe bet.

Our first time in Bali and it left a good taste. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I think this hotel is good place to stay and relax. The service in this hotel is good. I think the hotel price is reasonable. It is very near from the Denpasar airport and very comfortable to go to other places. The food is delicious. I like this hotel. I will return to here if I visit the Bali again.

not on the beach. about 15 min walk to kota sequare, but the street full of stores. i spent 2 nights on this hotel in feb 2009. i made my reservation with a good deal from agoda. the check in was smooth. the room condition is ok.

we were very impressed by the standard of this hotel .
we have stayed in various hotels in bali but will definitely be staying here again .
staff were very helpful and hotel was clean and fairly new .

a bit too far from kuta beach;restaurant and lobby right beside the main street. had a pleasant stay at The Rani. The room is pretty clean and tidy, balcony and swimming pool are great.
choice for breakfast is quite limited and the restaurant is right beside the main street, which makes it a bit noisy and dusty.

Very close discovery mall and waterbom.We stay in duluxe room.The room is new. The room is new but need more maintaince.Many travel group make noise in the moroing. The rani is value for money.It's new and good location.The wireless internet need to buy prepaid card and very expensive.If you have tight budget you can consider the rani.If you need rich breakfast and beautiful pool maybe you can consider 5 star hotel near discovery mall.

Reasonable rates, great location, good amenities, clean, quiet & friendly staff. Breakfast buffet could have a few more choices of western dishes. I have stayed at the Bali Rani Hotel & Spa before and have never been disappointed, it's reasonably priced with friendly staff. Although this is a small hotel it has all the amenities you would need for your Kuta stay. Located in the heart of Kuta, it's surprisingly quiet when staying at this hotel. There seem to be mainly business guests, hence no loud parties. It is only a 15 min. drive to the airport and in walking distance to Discovery Mall and Water bom park, both great places to visit.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Water bom Park, great fun for the day.

Room is very clean with no carpet. Toilet seat is a bit small, but ok. Bathroom is clean and efficient.
Breakfast is nice. There is a separate section for pork-based menu, which is good. The food is light enough for Asian or Westerners, so it won't make you feel too full.
Location is quite enough, only walks away to Discovery Mall which is the center attraction at that area. Good for people looking for quiet and comfy place to stay. The pool is ok. A bit too expensive for its class. I was there for the first Asian Beach Games 2008. At first I thought the place is close to Discovery where the event is held. But apparently it's different hotel, Bali Rani (still in the same group).
The Rani positioned itself to become a relaxation hotel, so comfort and cozy is its primary focus. I found my stay there was great as I'm looking for very clean room and bathroom, no-smoking floor and quiet environment. I like the fact that they don't use carpet in the room. This is good to keep the room clean after walk around the beach. The beach is not close to the hotel, should walk about 5 minutes to go through Discovery Mall. The beach at this area is not so great for sun-bathing nor swimming.
The location is not at the heart of Kuta area, so it's pretty good for family or people looking for quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Compare to Legian area, this is like the best road around Kuta. Lots of small cafes. And laundry is just a short walk away across the hotel. The only drawback is the price that is a bit too steep for hotel of its class.
Shopping Tip : Discovery Mall, Waterboom, and small cafes.

Clean and it looks almost new with friendly staff. Its a little bit to walk to the beach. My girlfriend and I really liked this hotel. A very valuble hotel. Its a 5 min walk from the Kuta beach and it looks almost new! The staff is very helpfull and always nice. The rooms are clean and big. The pool is nice and its cosy to sit by the pool when you dont want to go to the beach.
Restaurant Tip : Ocean view has very god food for a good price.

Seperate space for scooters of the guests (now we had to park at the same place as the personel but we were always closed in by all the other scooters so took a while to remove everything) The arrival was lovely. We arrived around 2 o'clock and we were greeted very friendly by the reception staff. They even recognised my friend who stayed last year and remembered which room she had! We asked for a room on the ground floor and we received 1 immediately. It was nice that the room was already ready for check-in. The room itself looked really clean and spacious. All the rooms are situated around the swimmingpool which is not very big but big enough for the hotel.
Breakfast was nice, but could have been bigger. It was mostly Asian food but European people don't really eat that for breakfast so I advise more yogurt/ breads/ cakes and especially condiments for on the bread.
We never had dinner there so I cannot comment on that, but the room service was always excellent!
The staff really did anything to make our stay better. Sometimes we had some mosquitos in the room but when we asked to spray this was done immediately!
The staff was very nice during our whole stay and we have really enjoyed it. We would definately recommend this hotel to anybody.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The rafting trip I would recommend!!

Quiet and modern complex... Room could have been cleaned better... Small, quite and modern complex. We had a great stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Would definitely come back to The Rani.
