The Hotel suited our needs perfectly.

As we were 4 friends from different parts of Australia meeting in Bali, the Rani was perfect. We wanted somewhere that we could be comfortable and not get lost in the crowd of the large resort stye hotels. The location was great for us and the staff were so friendly and we loved the personal service.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The Rani is far enough out of the busy shopping area of Kuta to have a relaxing stay, but close enough to walk to the major stores. There are many restraunts and spas around the hotel which we utilised often.

Lovely hotel and natural environment

Those of you who have not been to Bali, please don't waste your time and get yourself there. It is a land for tourist in Asia. With great hotel stay, great service and of course great beaches. This hotel is very comfortable to stay in, have to try the swimming pool and the staffs are so friendly.

The hotel is nice , clean , near the beach & calm. Great for the people who likes doing activities on the beach. Only 200 m walking to the beach. The room is nice , big enough for couple. I love the toilet decoration, & very clean. You don't have to walk far to the street. Directly can get a cap if u need to go somewhere. The staffs are nice & really helpfull. The swimming is quite big but not deep enough for me. I think it's good only for kids. But mostly the facilities are really nice

Not clean!

Stayed in this hotel for 4 days at the end of April/ begin May. I arrived a bit early, around 1 pm, but I was able to check in immediately. I had booked a deluxe room and was given one of the rooms near the pool area on the ground floor. The room was very large with a big closet, table and a small chair longue. Unfortunately the room wasn’t totally clean, as I found a few long hairs in the bathroom upon arrival. In addition I found it also to be a bit worn (cracked tiles, a bit of mold in the bathroom, squeaky bed etc.) and it had a light but nasty smell of urine when I entered. The location is okay, as it is within a 10 min. walking distance of Kartika plaza. Breakfast is offered complimentary from 06.00- 10.30 am. The breakfast buffet is quite limited (a few local dishes, jam, bread, mini croissants etc.), but my main concern was that the area seemed to absolutely filthy! There were flies everywhere. You couldn’t leave your food on the table for 2 min. before it being covered by at least 5 flies. In addition there was a trail of ants on the buffet table near the muffins. I’ve been to a few other open area restaurants in Bali where they did manage to keep it perfectly clean. Another gripe was that there was constant construction going on during my stay, which was quite disruptive. When checking in they inform you that there’s free wifi in the lobby. It was only later that I found out that you have to buy a drink to get access, which is very sneaky. The wifi in the rooms/ near the pool area costs 30.000 IDR for an hour and 50.000 for 2 hours, which I thought was quite steep (even for European standards). In my opinion, the service and cleanliness was below par, which is why I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a friend.

had a pleasant stay at The Rani. The room is pretty clean and tidy, balcony and swimming pool are great.
choice for breakfast is quite limited and the restaurant is right beside the main street, which makes it a bit noisy and dusty.

The arrival was lovely. We arrived around 2 o'clock and we were greeted very friendly by the reception staff. They even recognised my friend who stayed last year and remembered which room she had! We asked for a room on the ground floor and we received 1 immediately. It was nice that the room was already ready for check-in. The room itself looked really clean and spacious. All the rooms are situated around the swimmingpool which is not very big but big enough for the hotel.
Breakfast was nice, but could have been bigger. It was mostly Asian food but European people don't really eat that for breakfast so I advise more yogurt/ breads/ cakes and especially condiments for on the bread.
We never had dinner there so I cannot comment on that, but the room service was always excellent!
The staff really did anything to make our stay better. Sometimes we had some mosquitos in the room but when we asked to spray this was done immediately!
The staff was very nice during our whole stay and we have really enjoyed it. We would definately recommend this hotel to anybody.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The rafting trip I would recommend!!

Had a pleasant stay at The Rani Hotel & Spa Bali, the room is quite small, but the place is very quiet. it's good to have a afternoon swim to cool ourselves in the hote weather. The hotel is located near to the Discovery Mall, along the way there's plenty of shops along the streets. With it's great facilities and location, i would recommend this hotel to friends.

this hotel is not so big but taxi driver took me from the airport just told hotel's name. it was easy to reach. i was welcoming staff's smile and kindness. there was help me with good memory at bali.
