The Seri Villas Hotel, Bali

The staff was not the best. Called villas house too much. Shuttle service was not as advertised. A/c was not that effective and no sealing fan in the bedrooms to help. You can here your neighbors using the restrooms or taking a shower. Too far from the beach for the price. Etc.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you need to get around, which you will, hire a driver. We had the best driver in the world, mudarta and he is so friendly, knowledgeable and laughs non-stop. He has a parking space at the bar restaurant called "the living room" ask for him and hire him. Well worth it! And go see uluwatu - simply magical!

The hotel is off the beaten path, literally! This hotel is down a desolate dirt road, not really close to anything. You will need them to drive you, or if you're up for it you should rent a scooter (which they can arrange). I did that and it worked out great. The hotel staff is very nice, however, like in the rest of Bali, is clueless with where to go out for a nice dinner. They only know about one or two restaurants. Also, they are not so great at giving directions. Also, the taxi driver from the airport had difficulty finding the hotel, adding a 10 minute delay to our arrival. Ultimately, it wasn't that big of a deal, but this place can be hard to find.
