Out of the way hotel that needs help

The hotel was new and the rooms were large. However, problems included very, very noisy guests. This hotel is used by huge groups of Indonesians and the kids and adults make a racket. We were awoken at 5:30 every morning by them and they didn't stop until late at night. They were running through the corridors and shouting across the balconies to each other. The hotel did nothing to stop them, even after my many complaints. The restaurant food was only asian and when they did make me eggs, it was terrible. They hotel is too far away from anything and you have to take taxis to Kuta. The staff told me it was only a 15 minute walk to Kuta but it took 45 minutes, including having to walk on busy roads and there was no footpath. Not good when you have 3 small children. The pool area is constantly covered in shade and so is always cold. The showers are only hot during the day. As soon as evening comes and everyone is showering, the water temperature drops to cold.

the sunset hotel &villas is much more like a motel rather than hotels or villas and it's a little bit far away from the beach. on the first day we checked in, there was a blood spot on the bed sheet, which made me very uncomfortable to sleep on. the working staff is nice but they speak poor english.

This is a quite nice hotel. Quite clean and located very near sunset road. However, if you do not have a method of transportation and relies solely on public transport this may not a good hotel for you. A little bit problem with my room is that the curtain is unable to cover the window fully. On top of that although it is clean the interior needs more attitude / decoration. The breakfast is quite horrible although I am a local the breakfast is not really recommended, much better to stroll or drive somewhere, anywhere else for locals breakfast.

this looked like a new building. it's located on one of the main road (jalan dewi sri) so it will be hard to commute without a transport.
swimming pool was clean and not crowded, in fact there was no one in the pool except for us. breakfast wasn't included so cannot comment on it. overall, it was a very nice place to stay.

arrived at midnight and they still had airport transportation to the hotel. the reception process took just ten minutes. room is mediocre but clean. breakfast is good. also have a swimming pool. the hotel's building is new (just operates in 9 months) and located at quiet area.

the hotel staff in the short stay we where there.we could not fault,very helpful, always friendly with a smile and the restaurant and the food where excellent.we felt really relaxed around the hotel.the hotel facilitys are excellent just apity we did not have a longer vacation.
