excellent, almost perfect, it claims to be five star but there was a couple of things that let it down for me, ie when we arrived there was leaves and dirt in the spa and the spa cover was only half on, when we were escorted into the room we were told that if we wanted the spa cleaned just to ask, 5 star would have this done before we arrived.

Everything was positive about this resort! From the Friendly Staff that will go the extra mile to the delicious breakfast, it was great! There's a also a free shuttle service every hour and an included massage at the spa. Very beautiful!

nice hotel but bad experience

we stay for nyepi holiday. the scenery was great, our villa was facing the beautiful rice field. quiet surrounding, beautiful starry night. but beware, when we was having our romantic time beside the pool, we found out the staff was peeking us out from the villa next to us. reported it to the fo, but no response. we are very disappointed. when it stated private villa with private pool, it's not private at all. and we found a lot of leech around the garden and jacuzzi. may be it was because the rainy season. surely a worst nightmare regarding the peeking out staffs, never ever gonna stay here anymore.

Really enjoyed Ubud Green. Room was spacious, with good deck and great outlook. The hotel is conveniently close to town, but far enough away to feel like you're in the countryside. The staff were eager to please and for example, any variation or extras I wanted at the restaurant were always accommodated. The manger is keen to impress and improve. Well done.

We upgraded for $50/ night to a rice field villa & was superior to garden room.

we have four adults visiting, and were asked by the front desk to upgrade to apah 2 villa, which can accommodate up to 4 people rather than 3 (the previous one we booked online).
that was quite a lot of money to us.
as we were just a bit upset, the hotel staff took us to our villa, and suddenly we forgot any complaint. the villa was wonderful! with spacious and cozy living room overlooking the swimming pool on one side and the rice field on the other, nice bedrooms and clean bathrooms, we couldn't help burst into scream. everything was like a 5 star hotel, but even more tropical style and provides more privacy.
the location of the hotel is its shortness. it's quite far away from the busy street of ubud. so you'll always need a taxi to go out and back. shuttle bus not frequently enough, at about two hours a ride. as according to the hotel manual, it is not suggested to ride a bicycle to get back to hotel in the evening, as there might be aggressive dogs on the way.
having breakfast in the villa was the best thing. catering staff were nice and polite and got everything beautifully prepared. food tasted perfect and were served exquisitely, from egg benedict to feta egg, and those local bali food were highly praised by our parents. love the mixed green and orange juices. very healthy!
the 15-minute complimentary massage was really relaxing and comfortable. our parents said it was even better than the one-hour expensive massage we experienced in one spa on ubud street.
hope you don't mind geckos traveling on your tv wall. i saw some visitors complained about it. however, the four of us even watched the process of a lovely gecko hunting a fly and we enjoyed it so much and laughed out loud.
lunch/dinner/spa are quite expensive so we didn't try.
i trust the hotel and staffs from what we've experienced, and would surely recommend it to any friends who are considering staying in ubud.
