Boutique hotel with pleasant surprises
7.3
this is a very well maintained and small 20 units hotel at quiet part of legian. rooms are huge and the deluxe room we had were inches from the lovely pool. toiletries range was basic but the bath tub kept us happy. service was good as usual and staff knew exactly who we were at breakfast. and yes the pool is very clean and pretty

Found its location especially for a solo female traveller very impractical. Its about 10-15mins walk in to Seminyak - and there are no (or very few) pavements and in the evenings its really dark with no street lighting.
Rooms need a refurb and pool sun loungers both feel rather old and worn.
Breakfasts were very poor and service was non existent, tables weren't cleared and had to ask for them to be cleared so I could actually sit and eat.
Service was mixed - great that they were able to provide a free airport pick up, however after that it went rather downhill. Staff spoke very little english and were unable to make any restaurant recommendations or suggestions for excursions.
All other guests I spoke to wanted to leave as soon as possible!
Restaurant Tip:
Ultimos in Seminyak - great service, great food and amazing value

nice hotel but very dificult location
nice staff, nice place in the heart of the city but is really hard to find
6
the hotel was nice, the room although looks old but still looks nice, the staff was friendly. however the location is really difficult to find, we had trouble finding it and almost none of the taxi driver we met wasn't familiar with the location. lucky we took hotel's name card so we can always ask the driver to call the hotel and ask for its precise location, alas when we rent a motorbike to go around the city, we got lost for nearly 5 hours after asking almost 25 different people about the location. the name of the hotel actually the name of the street but it was different than what is written on the hotel's card. the staff although very nice but were not handy, we order some noodle soup and it came out almost hard to chew and the next order we were told to wait for one hour because they said the have full order, when we came to the pantry we found staffs just sit around and watch tv.

We loved staying at the Villa Diana. The staff were friendly and helpful and we recieved a free upgrade to a villa room. Breakfast was good (even had real bacon!), the pool was fab and the rooms clean and the bathrooms huge. loved the outdoor showers too. Wifi good but not work in rooms, satellite tv had good channels. Very quiet area but not too far from the cation in legion st. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
there is a great little supermarket and warung near the hotel. leave hotel turn right and follow river, turn right at t junction and about 100m on left hand side

Comfortable, Quiet, and Friendly
Good Restaurant, Friendly Staff, Beautiful Pool
8.7
I arrived in Bali with the intention of staying at Villa Diana one night and then finding a spot closer to Kuta for the rest of the week (the hotel is technically in Legian, but a short cab ride to Kuta/Seminyak). I was so impressed with everything that I ended up staying at Villa Diana the entire week. The included breakfast buffet is great, they have reliable internet access in the lobby, and the location is far enough away from all the late night noise but close enough to get around easily and see everything you want. This was a great experience and the price was right.

Wish we stayed longer
Cosy, modern, nice pool area, courteous and helpful staff
8.7
when we entered the villa, we were immediately happy with the choice of accomodation we made.
the villa was small and cosy, yet comtemporary. all rooms faced the inviting swimming pool, and had either a balcony or patio to lounge at.
there's only one restaurant but the menu ofers a decent selection of choices at very reasonable prices.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Get an area map from the front desk. The commercial area along Jl Legian is a 15 min walk away. There are plenty of retail outlets, restaurants, spas, money changers, internet cafes, etc along this street.
Other places of interest - Hard Rock Cafe, clubs, Discovery Mall, Kuta Square, Bali Slingshot - are accessible by a short taxi ride.
Traffic jams during drive time can cause long delays so plan accordingly.
Vie Spa -- very nearby, hotel staff can provide mroe information.

Great Hotel Room, Service is up to standard
Room is very cozy, feel very comfortable staying there
7.3
- the room is big and it is reasonably priced.
- a little bit far from kuta, legian and far from beach, so not possible to walk there, only can reach by car or motorbike
- friendly staff
- quiet at night or morning
- breakfast is so so, not up to 4 star standard.
- wifi is only available at lobby and swimming pool
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you want to enjoy quiet environment, this is your choice, however if you want to get to Kuta or Legian, it is impossible by foot.

Great villa with lovely staff
Awesome rooms, lovely pool, great place to relax
8.7
While it is a little outta the way about 5 min walk to seminyak main st about 15 to the beach the pros definitely out way the cons. Our suite was exactly as the pictures show it, the hotel in general was exactly as shown. Lovely staff, the breakfast isn't fantastic but it's ok. Would without question stay here again.
Restaurant Tip:
Do yourselves a favor and try the newly opened "MALO'S" restaurant, it's on the walk toward the main street. By far the best place we ate at, fantastic food at great price and the staff are the friendliest wait staff we have ever met..

A nice boutique hotel but not good location
The pool is nice and overall the hotel has a cosy feel
6.3
overall, the hotel is nice and cosy. the suite is nice and clean, except for the shower stall which has a swing door like those of a shop with a lock and key, which seems odd for a shower. it also looks old and rusty. there is also no sheltered walkway from my suite room to the lobby and no umbrellas provided in the room. we got totally drenched one morning when there was a heavy downpour and we had to run to the cafe for breakfast. however, overall, it was a pleasant stay with friendly staff.
