The Deluxe Lanai was just perfect. Very comfortable and private. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant.
Not much to choose from the restaurant menu. No tea & coffee facilities in rooms.
We found our stay to be very relaxing and would recommend this resort to anyone looking for serenity and peacefulness. However, the restaurant was a little bit disappointing as we didnt have much to choose from. Beautiful scenery in Ubud and great shopping.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The cycle tour is a must!

Location, Friendly staff, Reliable bus shuttle
My hotel when I stayed for a night in Ubud area.
Great location nearby to the Palace where you can watch the nightly Barong dance (although I didn't manage to see it) You can just walk to the palace or just use the hotel's shuttle bus that will take you to anywhere within Ubud area. Room is clean and comfortable. Nothing to complain about.
Shopping Tip : Great bargain at Ubud Market

Opportunities for a variety of cultural experiences
Some fantastic staff who really cared about making it a rewarding stay
The room need some extra attention
Flowers were not fresh - better not to bother
The three days we stayed in Ubud it did not stop raining, yet despite this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waka Namya. The hotel is set a little back from the hurley burley of Ubud, and was very peaceful. The staff were charming and knowledgeable. The room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable. The menu was simple and nourishing. We had a driver at our disposal who took us to some wonderful art galleries.
Hotel Feature Tip : Waka Nayma offer a range of classes in Balinese culture - such as rice fireld walks, gamelon, temple decorations and art lessons

Good staff, very friendly. The bed was comfortable and private. Great bath and outdoor shower had a good feeling. Felt safe...Stayed in a deluxe villa.
Slow to serve breakfast. Allow half an hour. Yummy though!
The hotel is a little out of Ubud. It really was not very far and the shuttle worked very well. It is a small hotel and has a warm family and friendly atmosphere. Because of its size the attention to detail was fabulous. My mother fell ill for a day and the staff were extraordinary, above and beyond what you would expect. When we stayed in a resort afterwards we thought she would not have had the care that we experienced at Waka Namya. Loved it there!
Restaurant Tip : Murnis Warung...
Amazing sitting downstairs with a view over a ravine. Great service and good food. Might need to book.

Friendly and helpful staff
Shuttle van at your disposal
Clean and beautiful room
Breakfast was excellent
No rice paddy field view
No generator set (for blackouts)
The hotel was beautiful and the staff provide really great service. Its quiet (no TV) and there are only 12 rooms. Although it is a bit far from Ubud centre (15 minutes walk), it has a shuttle van that can bring you anywhere in Ubud. Great selection of breakfast. The staff was really helpful.
Restaurant Tip : Go to Indus Restaurant for the food and the view. Just ask the hotel to send you there.

Hotel location is perfect. Away from the main town, but closed enough to walk or drive to. Hotel provides free shuttle bus. Staffs are really nice and helpful with everything. Room decoration is great, with 4-stars facilities.
The bathtub is a little dirty. Fresh towels are not fresh, and bed is a little dusty.
It was a pleasant stay. We were impressed with the hotel decoration, a real Balinese style. The hotel location is just right, away from the town, peaceful and private. However, not too far, a 15-minute walking distance. The hotel also provide free shuttle bus if you don't want to walk. The staffs were really nice and helpful with restaurant reservations and car and driver arrangements for our outing trip to Batur volcano and Besakih temple. Swimming pool is a bit small but also nice. The bad experiences were the towels provided by the hotel are not clean, bathtub was also not clean and bed is a little dusty. However, it was a great experience overall. Recommend!
Restaurant Tip : The 'Dirty Duck' Restaurant is a 'MUST'!

We were disappointed by the room even if we were upgraded to the DELUXE Villa. The rooms are very old and it doesn't look like the ones featuring on the hotel website. Too expensive for what you get.
Besides, the staff was very helpful and very friendly!

First class service. I think we got our towels changed three times a day sometimes. Staff very helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 5 minute walk from the Antonio Blanco (The Dali of Bali) museum...worth a visit.
