Great hotel and fantastic staff.
Best hotel in Kuta for families with teenagers.

Daughter has food intolerances and restaurant staff made her an individual breakfast suitable to her needs each day, nothing was too much trouble.
Situated in central Kuta it is an ideal place for a family with teenagers as the disco's, bars nd shops are meters away yet the hotel is whisper quiet. Will stay again next time.

Great Location Nice Rooms and Pool Area

Second time visit to the White Rose, and would stay again.
The best thing is the location. Down a lane at the back of the Bali Memorial, and close to Poppies II, several mini-marts and restaurants.
The rooms are quite large, and clean. The beds are comfortable (with pillow tops). Rooms on 2nd and 3rd floors come with a balcony.
The pool and pool area is great. We love the breakfasts here - reasonable selection including fruits / breads & pastry / international and indonesian.
The hotel is generally fairly quiet, but I usually stay at the back of the hotel. Note however that you may get some noise from the Bars on Legian if you are in the top floor rooms at the far back of the hotel (however this was not too lowd to disturb our sleep.
If in wet season, may be best to avoid rooms 3038 and 3039 due to water leakage).
Make sure when you check in that you ask for the room / bed configuration and location that you want, as it is difficult to change once they assign a room.
Overall, the staff are friendly and the hotel is in a great location and a good place to stay, play and relax.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel has a currency exchange booth that has fairly good rates, and it avoids the hassel of exchanging in the street (and avoids being ripped off).

coudn't find a better hotel in a better location, staff were extremely helpful and food was amazing. would come back for sure- i am a frequent traveller to bali... first as a young couple and now as a family and would stay here for either.

and never surprised at how much they go out of there way to accommodate my needs.

we booked 2 rooms and room condition is ok. this is a rather old hotel with old lay-out, so we found a foyer before the rooms, which is quite nice. room condition is standard, but unfortunately one room is right next to the motorcycle parking lot, so we keep hearing (staffs?-) motorcycles coming in and out.
breakfast is standard. and we found out at check out that the location is right in the heart of kuta.
Nightlife Tip:
Next to hotel is "Room Engine". This club (?) seems to be a place of happening in the night.
