This hotel is right in the heart of nightlife and shopping yet very peacefull and quiet so your sleep is never interrupted. The rooms are being renovated but not all are finished yet, ours was not renovated and looked old but still acceptable, marginally. Also we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. Great hotel because of it's location, try and request a ground floor pool view room and you will have the best of both worlds. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay at this hotel again.

Good Location right behind Bali Memorial but local called it Bali Bomb and I almost had a hard time getting back as no local knows. Please check out the bars right beside Quicksilver with fire dances at night. Breakfast is not bad with many selections. Hotel proceeds with construction and arrange me right beside the site which is terrible as I was there to study. It is very noisy and intrusion of privacy as I cannot stay in balcony as workers keep watching. This is quite annoying. Bathroom is a bit run down with not very hot water. Overall, White Rose is recommended because of its location. There are a lot of restaurants and bars outside which are very entertaining. Please check out Kuta beach and it's within walking distance.

the location of the white rose is excellent close to shopping resturants and night life and still very quite.we enjoyed our stay there and will stay again..

gym needs updating Loved the location, close to shopping, bars and resturants. Warm welcome by staff and very helpful during stay. The pool area was great, towels a bit smelly though. Breakfast every morning was good, good selection of fruit, hot food and pastries. Would definitely stay again and bring the kids next time.

good location, friendly and helpful staff,great pool,clean rooms ,excellent securety,wonderful hotel for kids of all ages The 5 of us--nanna mum and 3 boys had a really wonderful week at the White Rose.The staff were very helpful and polite--the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices for the kids.
The pool was beautiful as well as the surroundings. The rooms were very clean and well maintained.In all I would recommend this hotel to everyone

Location for those who like to stay in Kuta Food prices and alcohol a bit high. My family stayed at the White Rose and one of them was elderley they provided a free wheelchair which allowed him to aclimatise for a few days, and changed his room immediately from 3rd floor to 1st floor. Staff extremely friendly, pool area was excellent, losts of close by eateries and bars. The family were very satisified with overall Hotel facilities, cleanliness and service.

Location - located on legian street where restaurants and clubs are all within 100m, poppies II is just across the road.
Room size - we got a deluxe room and it was HUGE, so was the bed.
Bathroom size was big aswell! we had a great long vanity and large mirror which was great for doing makeup etc. It was a bit worn down, especially the bathroom, everything was all stained and cracked. This is a great hotel and I would definately go and stay there again. The best part was the locaton. It is right behind the bali bombing memorial, which means its got legian street and the doorstep and poppies II is just across the road.
The nightlife is at your door step but it is just far enough away that you wont be kept up all night or hear any traffic.
The room was fairly cheap (and we splurged and got a deluxe!)
There were quite a few families, older couples and young adults so quite a mixture of people.
The pool is really big but you had to get up earlier to get a sun bed.
Breakfast was okay, we mainly just had eggs which was the best thing on the menu. they also did b/fast in two different locations which was good.
We also went to the spa which was good and worth the little bit extra that you pay from the streets!
I recommend this hotel to families, young people,party goers, couples

also look around for water, you should be paying more than 2-3000 for a small bottle and 3- 5000 for a large (some places charge heaps, almost double!)

Location is perfect to access shopping restaurants but is secluded in a large garden away from noise and traffic We reserved the super delux room which the hotel website described as renovated. Unfortunately none of these rooms had been refurbished, so we were disappointed on arrival. The room though was spacious and placed in a perfect location with access to the pool area.Gym poor. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. For the price it was good value. Breakfast buffet had a good range of foods. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.Would like more evening entertainment within the hotel.The gym needs a full upgrade of equipment.
Restaurant Tip : Restaurants nearby offer a great choice. Neros and Mini in Legian street were excellent and we visited them more than once during our stay.

Two dining areas so you can allways fit in for meals or snacks and food is well presented.

beautiful landscape, clean, nice grass field, large bathroom it's located behind the memorial monument of bali's bomb. it's remind us how cruel what that terrorist have done. i hope that there'll be no more of it

The band in Gracy Kellys Pub was very good.
The broadband internet was fast and responsive. The corridor where the room was located (134) was a little dark.
The bath would not drain. My partner and I stayedo only one night but wished we had more time for this hotel which was overall a lovely, relaxing and memorable experience. We were made welcome from the first moment we arrived and were treated in a quiet, friendly, efficient and competant manner by all who dealt with us. All as aspects of our stay, apart from the bath not draining, were without reproach and we both look forward to having the opportunity of staying in the Bali Dynasty some time again in the future.

location is good enough to access center of kuta the waiters manner were rude.
The chubby guy receptionist was also rude, tried to rip off the driver charge. while we were having breakfast, I actually "showed" that I have not yet finished the waiter took my plate right away.
Also do not hire taxi from the hotel, they charge you double price compare to take bluebird taxi(the most reliable taxi in Bali).
Travel tip : we didn't know the hotel is located just behind the monument of year 2004 terrorist attack in bali...made us a bit scared.

We were staying at a really dodgy 2 star hotel, with cockroaches and ants, so as you can imagine, anything would have been better than that!! However, when we moved to the White Rose, it took our breath away! The rooms were gloriously clean, and the air-con cold - the pool was fantastic with enough sun-beds for everyone! The buffet breakfast every mornning was superb! The staff were brilliant and attentive, we loved our stay at the White Rose.

Central location to Kuta - if that's what you're after Old beds with bust springs - our backs were killing us in the morning. Worn, slightly 80s feel to the place. We needed something cheap for 1 night on arrival as we were heading off by car the next day from the airport, to tour Bali. Price was fine for this purpose and fairly clean and tidy although the place felt worn and had an 80s air to it. The all male staff at reception were fairly courteous but it was not exactly an overflowing welcome, they were a bunch of older blokes that looked and acted like 'heavies' so it was not really a nice gentle, pleasing welcome - very functional. As this was our first trip to Bali, the location of this hotel was a bit of a shocker - in a quiet behind the main road area but the main road was grim. I suppose it's fine if you're 18 and want to get lagered/partied up but for us it was a place just to rest our head for the night.
