Old Hotel but good for the price

This is an old hotel with all the usual problems like water, poor AC and crazy stair access for bag carriers. Having said that, there are rooms that are quite acceptable for the budget traveller. The free wireless internet was not fast but good enough to do basic business tasks. For leisure travellers the pools would be quite attractive. Breakfast was not memorable but quite acceptable. Be careful of front desk staff. Whilst some of them are excellent others really have no idea what is going on. A good example is that I was charged for pool drinks that could never have been mine since I never use the pool. In the end I gave up arguing and paid it. Please remember to buy mosquito spray for your room. This place is probably good for young beginner travellers since it is in a secure location but still close to everything.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Take the rear access gate for a shortcut to Jalan Benesari. Saves a very long walk.

We stayed fours days at wina . Good location at Kuta, not that difficult to get to Seminyak, Legian or Kuta itself. Near to Kuta Beach.

Great Hotel but Small Rooms

Generally it was a great stay for just a night. Room is rather small though- but for a discounted price i've got for a Superior Room but got a free upgrade to Deluxe room it was worth the money spent. Pool is small, breakfast is great, location is within walking distance to the Kuta beach (5 mins walk). Room is a lil worn down but clean. TV is too small and old.
Shopping Tip:
Walk to Kuta Square/Matahari shopping mall for a better deal of local handicrafts/ souvenirs.

this is a very convenient hotel very near to the kuta beach and a stonethrow away from the happening nightlife of kuta. very affordable price as well. and we love the pools within the hotel itself. however, the upkeeping and maintenance of hotel need be kept proper. room for improvement!

I was looking for affordable hotel in Kuta, good location. This answers the needs.
The site itself is pleasent. breakfast is fine. The room basically equipped. shower too low for Eurpean sized people, and no aircon in the bathroom. But the sink is in the room itself (?!). it gives the value fo rthe money. suitable for families. or one night filler if you need to be early morning at the airport.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Kuta beach- just stroll and enjoy
Near by street market (pupilles 2)- bergen on price
