Nice enough hotel

The hotel was ok for the price, the staff was very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was sort of what you expect, nothing more nothing less. Wifi works bad in the rooms, better if you sit by the pool or in the lobby area.
Quite big rooms, clean enough but some unnecessary condiments like bad shampoo etc. The best thing I found was that it was very quite during the night.
Restaurant Tip:
There are great restaurants in Ubud, Clear Café and Kafé are 2 good ones if you're in to vegetarian food.

we stayed here one night in ubud, in transit from sanur beach to kintamani. it was very easy for our driver to find, and within easy walking distance to many things - restaurants, temples, spas, monkey forest, etc. we were greeted with the warmth that we've come to adore about bali and its people. our room was clean and decently sized, in a cute little bungalow-type dwelling. afternoon tea was refreshing, though minimal. the a/c worked beautifully, and was even soothing (sounded just like the ocean). bathroom was adequate, though we had to keep the door closed to isolate the a/c in the room (like many hotels around bali, windows in the bathroom are high up, but open/screened). breakfast was really good, despite given only a few menu options. the pool was decent, a bit small, and closed for maintenance when we arrived; re-opened later. we stayed around the area long after checkout (approx 8 hrs), and they looked after our luggage nicely and securely. we loved this area and yulia village and would liked to have stayed longer, but our itinerary prevailed and alas, we moved on to the next destination. would definitely stay here again on return to ubud.
Restaurant Tip:
for a yummy quick bite and great extended happy hour (2 for 1 cocktails from 4-9pm) on the upper deck, try mingle cafe and bar (~5-10 min walk from yulia village).

Bathrooms are really badly designed, ended up with water everywhere, otherwise room was fine, nice and quiet location!

Downhill cycle trip with Bali Eco.

The hotel look a bit "OLD" but staff are really nice, friendly & helpful. Located at the middle of "Monkey Forest" & "Ubud Palace"
I would suggest the Hotel Managment to renovate or touch up all the defect in the hotel room.

Friendly hotel in the heart of Ubud
Great breakfasts, nice pool and lovely helpful staff.

Nearly everything was great for a budget hotel - lovely garden setting, friendly staff, good pool and nice room. The only problem was that in my room the airconditioner did not work too well due to open screens along both sides of the room. This made for hot nights and wasted electricity. I don't think all rooms had the same problem.

Good hotel with friendly staff. Easy to find food nearby, and nice breakfast. Just stayed for a night , will come back next time. Great stay..
Nightlife Tip:
Visit a Jazz Club near the hotel (5 minutes by car) , ask the hotel staff to make reservation and pick up service from the Jazz Club.
