The location of the hotel was good as there were many shops and restaurants around the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was run-of-the-mill but it's not too bad.It's a good choice for an an affordable hotel. The rooms were clean but overall it's a bit old and gloomy.

My husband and I really had a nice stay there although it was only a night. The room is very comfortable, though you can't see a great view of the city from your bedroom. Their service is excellent and quick. This hotel is also strategic because it is located in one of "the center" of Bandung, Cihampelas (I'm not saying that it is the center of Bandung but it has become one of the center of Bandung, known by it's shopping center, Cihampelas Walk). So you can enjoy shopping and have a great stay there!

Overall, it was a good stay in Aston, despite the condition of the room which was rather old. However, I can recommend this hotel to those who wants to stay in the center of the shopping district. The service was good and all staff were very helpful.

Great Location, but no view

located very close to cihampelas walk, only 3 minutes walk, so you'll have plenty of restaurants to choose from. you can also walk along the cihampelas street, which is one of bandung landmark. the whole street is crowded with jeans stores and factory outlets. my room is pretty big, they upgraded me to deluxe room when i checked in because all the standard rooms were fully booked. the room however has a window wich facing a wall with scenery painted on it, so there's no natural light in. the insulation in the room also not good enough, i could hear people talking when they passed by my room, i can also hear the noise coming from the gym which located right above my room.

checked in as a group of 30 for our annual budget meeting. excellent choice indeed. for usd28 per pax you are entitled to 2 coffee breaks (with 4 items per break) and 1 lunch .
the room was good and breakfast are good as per indonesian standard. lovely stay indeed
Restaurant Tip:
walk further down the road about 50m, there is a sundanese restaurant called "Sapulidi". excellent food and ambient

Location is the only saving grace
Location, but within the same location many other choices, leave this as the last option hotel

Very very very disappointed! Over-rated, over-priced.... a four star hotel, charging four star price and providing one star amenities. Overall very outdated, and feels dilapidated.
Rooms smells BAD, moldy, and very poorly maintained.
Bedsheets yellowish, pillows sucks, towels worn out and stiff and has holes in them.
Toilet exhaust fan sounds like a generator, carpets stained and stinks, TV was new though. But everything else was so antiquated.
Food is terrible, I skipped breakfast on the second morning, just cannot bring myself to eat there. Prefer to go hungry.
They really need to upkeep better or lower their price and become a one star hotel.
