nice building Gym and breakfast could be in more spacious facilities. This might change after a new wing is ready. (didn't notice new wing construction until concierge informed us of it)
Buy your own water! Having decided for it though slightly above planned budget we were delighted about this hotel.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff speaking enough English, comfortable, cosy and safe place. I even liked the building, it gave us a kind of home feeling more than you can ask for in a large hotel.
Excellent location, perfect to walk around neighbourhoods off Juanda or north along famous Jalan Juanda w nice restaurants, several factory outlets without the traffic and stress of the central shopping streets. 10-15 minutes to airport, Jalan Braga, centre, Dago Park. 6 minutes to Gedung Sate. No need to cross the city if heading north to the volcanos.
We didn't try the hotel restaurant. So many nice restaurants in Bandung.
Shopping Tip : Buy your own water! 1 big bottle water in the room at Rps 50,000! Ridiculously expensive!
Wine is pure luxury in Bandung, probably due to new import controls. Bring wine or Best deal: 2 tiny shops sell 1 bottle Shiraz at Rps 250,000 off Jalan Braga. In 1 restaurant they went to buy wine for us: we had to pay 450,000 rps PLUS 50,000 corkage for the same Shiraz.
Don't change money in or opposite the hotel: Walk 10 mins up Juanda to GMC/GoldenMoneyChanger - I assume best in town.
All the small money changes change here !! Big difference.

Great staff, nice room, pretty good breakfast, good spa, nice decor and hotel can arrange for reasonable transportation service (car and driver). Location is not that central but transportation can easily be arranged at a pretty affordable price.
