Great Locations, nice rooms, and value for money
The staff is very warm and helpful, the rooms is clean and spacious, bath room also clean and nice.

my wife and 2 years old daughter, is planning to stay at bandung for couple days. so we browse on agoda to search for best hotel. then i found novotel bandung and decide to stay for one day. from my experience that we are so happy to stay there, the room is spacious and clean, bath room also nice, the staff was friendly. but when we stay there, we are disappoint because the swimming pool is rather small and also under maintenance. the kids room also very small and have less toys. but overall we are enjoy staying there and we'll be back in the future.
Restaurant Tip:
Must go to Kampung Daun, the view and surrounding is very nice. The food also delicious, although rather expensive. This is always the first spot that we came when staying in Bandung.

we had a great experience at the hotel.
before leaving for bandung i called the hotel to make arrangements for the airport transfer and it was handled very well. we arrived pretty late, after midnite in ramadhan, yet the staff were wide awake and helpful in answering all our queries and requests.
the room was spacious and clean. toilet and shower were also well maintained. the tv was large and filled with a wide variety of channels. the staff were helpful in arranging for our transportation throughout our stay too. they also gave good advices on our traveling plans so that we can manage our time and expectations.
cons: we ordered fruit juices but they weren't so fresh. asked for a replacement, same result. guess they didn't have fresh fruits which were sweet enough for my taste buds. the view from the hotel isn't the best but generally the view is the same everywhere in bandung so can't really complain. wifi isn't available in the rooms, but they have it is available in the lobby. we asked for praying mats and they took quite some time to knock on our doors. also, there weren't many places to eat around the area. we wanted to look for authentic bandung food (roadside) but we needed to get a cab to do so.
by the end of the day, what we really needed was a nice cosy bed, clean bathroom, good food and good front desk. we got just what we needed and we were pleased with our stay.
i don't mind recommending this hotel to others.
Shopping Tip:
I believe you're planning to go to Bandung to shop. If so, firstly I'd recommend you to get the hotel to arrange for your transportation, pay for the all day service so you won't have to drag your shopping bags around. The hotel actually keeps track of the hotel driver that drives you, so put your doubts aside. We went to Rumah Mode factory outlet on Jalan Setiabudi. Good stuff. Then walked along the road to other outlets. Good food around there too. Then we went to Jalan Riau, some outlets there are good, I'd say maybe 4 out of 20 that we walked into. We missed PvJ (Paris van Java) which was a large outlet mall. Looks good from outside.
You have to be selective of the items you wish to buy as some can really look fake. Most of it looks great though. Especially their leather products.

Hotel with a satisfaction service

Novotel always give a satisfaction service. We booked a superior room which is not to big but still OK. The room was clean, modern furnished, clean, and cold air conditioner. It is very recommended for a short stay.

You can go to Jalan Cihampelas to find group of factory outlets.
