I was in Bandung from last Thursday to Monday and spent 4 nights in Novetel Hotel. The facade of the hotel does not look very impressive but the rooms are nice and spacious.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The hotel is near to town and convenient to move around.
I enjoyed very much my stay at Novetel and would recommend my friends and relatives to stay in this hotel.
Thanks to all staff of Novetel for providing me with very pleasant experience there.
Shopping Tip:
Factory outlets such as Rumah Mode - wide variety of clothes at reasonable price.

i booked executive king room, but because i also a member of a club, so they upgrade to the junior suite room. i really satisfied with that room with living room, 2 lcd tv and big bath room. also i exciting with the amenities, they provide salt bath and scrub soap. in the evening they also give up a big plate of snacks and fruits.
Shopping Tip:
Many shopping mall near the hotel: Istana Plaza Mall, Ciwalk Mall and Paris van Java Mall. Also you can find many factory outlet near the hotel

The Best Hotel in Bandung

Buildings dont make a good Hotel, people do! Novotel Bandung has an amazing staff with superlative service. I have travelled across the globe and stayed in maybe over 500 hotels. Very rarely, you come across a Hotel where the entire staff wants to help you and make your stay memorable. I landed up at Bandung in the middle of Ramzan - the holy month of fasting for the Muslims. Every evening the fasts are broken by culinary feasts - you must visit Indonesia in Ramzan to experience food:)
The Hotel had lovely oversized rooms, beautiful bath areas within the rooms, clean environment, superlative breakfasts and meals and most important the best staff a hotel can dream of. I had a memorable time. The only disadvantage of staying here was the distance from the main shopping streets.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Please do not miss the Spa in the hotel. Expert masseuses using aromatic Indonesian oils make for a mind-blowing spa experience. The whole spa atmosphere wa so wonderful and for a Citicard holder, i got a 305 off on my spa bill!

Good location and backed up by great service
Hotel is just 15 minutes from the airport and ideally located for all activities.

the hotel was gracious to provide a free airport pickup on our arrival. check in was smooth and we were in our room within minutes.
the room was clean and in order. we found that the shower was not working well and the bathroom was not user friendly.
the staff at the reception were friendly and went out of their way to tell where the good shopping areas were.
breakfast and dinner at the "square" was great.
Shopping Tip:
For great shopping, take a short cab ride to either Ciwalk or Jalan Riau. Most of the factory outlets are located along the latter.

the first floor looks tricky at a quick glace. seems it tries to have all in 1 floor, which makes it look narrow. then surprised by it spacious room! we got the room in the highest floor with the bandung city view. also love the breakfast, they have a wide selections of tasteful meals! a tiny bad spot only when they delivered the newspaper in the morning - knocking the door - while they could just leave it in the door front and let me slept longer (maybe should put the 'do not disturb' sign while sleeping).
Shopping Tip:
Short distance to City Walk (by taxi) with a lot of choices of foods & shopping stores.
