Budget hotel that serves its purpose

I just need a room for a short overnight and I again chose Pop since this is just 5 minutes away from office.
Staff was helpful (better than last time) and check in process was quick and good. Wifi worked well. Pop's only drawback would be the room's door that needs sound-proofing. (or thickened up).
Due to the nature of the room aisle hard finishing, and the sort of guests here (lots of school pupils. young guest, big families), the walk in the aisle tends to be noisy. And this noise tends to penetrate the room.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Not really hotel feature, but next to the hotel is a shopping mall (Festival Citylink) where you can shop a bit and get something to eat

Good location, lousy service and lousy room

Very disappointed. It took me so long to check in eventhough I had the booking voucher. The login name and the password had to be asked.
Arrived there early at 9 a.m and I was not allowed to enter the room. Even though the receptionists told me that there were rooms available for me to check-in if I was willing to pay 50% of the room fee. I didn't need it, so I left my luggages with the receptionist (no concierge service).
I told them to help me to put my luggages into my room. They said, "Yes". However, when I returned to the hotel at night my luggages were not in the room yet. I had to ask them to look for my luggages, because the receptionist told me that they had to look for where my luggages were kept even after I passed the luggage tag given to me in the morning to the receptionists who were in charge for the night shift.
Bathroom is super tiny and ultra uncomfortable. If you are not travelling alone, better to bring your own soap and own shop, shampoo, tooth paste and tooth brush.
No telephone in the room. So if you need anything, you have to personally leave your room and go down to the lobby to enquire.

Pop Hotel is all you need when you stay in bandung. Great modern room with a LCD satellite TV. nice bed with and a very comfortable blanket. I almost took that one home. Shower Is the best. I love the shower. Location is almost near to every attraction like city hall, braga, trans studio, etc. The staffs are friendly and really helpful. I recommend to have a room in the fifth floor since it has the best signal for a free wifi. And it's good. Don't worry about food and entertainment. It has a big shooping mall right next to it. In the morning, they give you a nice quick bite with a free flow of coffee or tea. And it's all just for a few hundred thousand rupiahs a night. Overall, Pop hotel is simply the best in its class. Always stay there while in bandung.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Have a room in the fifth floor for the best wifi. Try to eat at the top of the shooping mall inside the hotel. Nice view and a great variety of food.
