Stayed in Boutique Village room.. not bad. Felt unwelcome upon arrival (first impression)...may be not enough staff...
We were waiting for room to be ready and have to ask few times to speed it up.. Since it was our first trip to Bandung and referral was made from Agoda website from other guests, my first impression about the hotel is not within my expectation.
Restaurant Tip : Bumbu Desa - good Sundanese food.

privacy and good location. not in the centre but its so quiet location. very romantic and suitable for family . no entertainment, sometimes its bored , staff not friendly and so cool . hello, i went to bandung 6 times a year, and i also try many hotel to stay. the jayakarta hotel are very luxury hotel but very quiet location . but, its my choice to stay there when i go bandung. i like the very privacy and the hotel its suitable for family .

- Great city view at night from the hotel spacious balcony
- Friendly and Helpful Staff
- Spacious room with traditional Sundanese interior design.
- Nothing inviting and fancy surrounding the hotel
- Low quality breakfast
- First arrival, having problem with the toilet but later on within minutes, the technician fixed the problem.
- No Draught Beer served at the bar on the ground floor. Really disappointed, but Bir Bintang in the bottle wasn't so bad at all. I stayed in the Jayakarta Hotel Bandung on 14 August 2008. The staff were all friendly and helpful as I stepped into its large lobby with the traditional Sundanese interior.
The hotel has simple traditional interior design, with a very large swimming pool with water fall as well as kids playground. It's very worthy to visit for those who bring their family members.
Though I was stuck outside the room because the key card didn't work, the staff soon replaced mine with the new one. Nothing fancy about the breakfast. It served mostly Indonesian B'fast (Fried noodles, fried rice, and other unknown and unfamilar stuff for westerners). The toaster didn't even work.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Whenever and wherever you go around Bandung, Be prepared to bargain with the taxi drivers since most taxis refused to use the meters for your trip (except the taxi under the flag "Blue Bird")
