We were pleasantly surprised by the upgrade from an executive room to a suite. The room was huge and spacious and nicely decorated and it was near to Nagoya hill shopping arcade via a cab ride.

It is easy to find taxi, provided by hotel, minimarket is available in front of it. Some restaurant also there. When batam centre area nearby hotel is fully book, i will choose this one.

Good for a short getaway from Singapore. Located 5mins by taxi from ferry terminal. Very clean place, good rooms, spacious and good equipped. Nice bar in the hotel, also very good located for nightlife (big club opp of the hotel, or 10mins by taxi). Very good standard, Novotel as it should be.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Cheap spa around, just a few mins by taxi

I would like to recommend any couple or family who going to batam for staying novotel hotel is best but only morning breakfast cost is too high and its better to provide indian food.
Some people fear to visit batam with children due to food who are vegetrains.
