Couples Indonesia, January 14, 2013	Good location, great service Good location, great service 8 the hotel is right in the middle of the city centre, just in front of batu satam monument. walk distance to shops. not too far from tanjung pendam beach. though the best beaches and access to islands are outside the city (20-25 km). small exclusive hotel with old-colonial style but very clean and with modern facilities including wifi and swimming pools. this hotel definitely deserves more than two stars or even three stars. but price could be cheaper if there were not limited good hotels in tanjung pandan. breakfast is rather standard, with some local tastes. the staffs are very helpful, and the personal service from the gm is excellent.

Friendly Staff, Good Food, Rooms well maintained, Nice Pool 9.3 We stayed here two days and the people were very friendly. The food was good and the accommodation was clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful when we asked for a tour guide too which was quite cheap. However there was a down side. We were here in the rainy season and got hit by a tropical storm. During the first 24 hours we had a power cut about every two hours which lasted each time about 5 minutes. We looked on it as part of the adventure! Restaurant Tip: This island is not very commercialised yet which is why we chose it. Around the hotel there was not much in the way of restaurants. We did see a KFC... However the food in the hotel was good and it is a small island and easy to get to other places..
