Enjoyed a very relaxing couple of days at the Banyan Tree. Our villa was quite high up the hillside so we had a fantastic view of the ocean and overall the resort was beautiful and peaceful so it was great for a short rest and chilling-out. A couple of the restaurants were closed for refurbishment but we didn't mind as we had a lovely dinner on our balcony and you have a choice of restaurnts next door at the Angsara to use as well as the two that remained open at the Banyan Tree.

Lovely Property

This is our 4th time staying at the Banyan Tree Bintan. We love the location (a quick 50 min ferry ride from Singapore) and the property is one of the lovliest in the region. Nice rooms with Indonesian style decor. Awesome beds. Most rooms have wonderful views, even if you are not directly on the ocean. We staying in a pool villa and I thought the pool would be more of a swimming pool rather than a sitting pool but it was still nice. The check in process was, however, terrible - it took over 30 minutes. It would be nice to be recognized as a returing guest. The staff missed that one. The restaurant SAFRON has great Thai Food. Highly recommend it.

Comfortable retreat ay Banyan Tree Bintan
Very nice location, very comfortable two-room private villa with private infinity pool and very attentive hotel personnel.

We had three excellent days at Banyan Tree Bintan with our four small children (12-5). Transfer from Boat Terminal to resort was complimentary. The Pool Villa exceeded our expectations, as was the very attentive personnel at the resort. Only downside was the fact that the Indonesian Cuisine outlet was closed for renovation and that restaurant prices were a bit overrated. No comment on the food itself!

Nice and secluded beach,large room with good amenities.We were upgraded to an ocean front beach villa and given a late check out which was great. Living in Singapore, it is very easy to get there via ferry,so we will definitely go back to this resort.
