Nice beach, cosy room and great staff

I stayed at Agro beach resort, which has two restaurants with quite many choices of food, a swimming pool for adults and one for kids. The sea is right in front of the resort. The water is clear, although the sand is a bit muddy. But good thing is at the sister resort, Cabana, the sea is great for swimming. Crystal clear and very shallow water.
There is a free shuttle between the two resorts so you can stay at one and go to the other easily.
There are also many fish, small crabs and hermit crabs if you or your kids like them!
I didn't have time to try the sea sports and snorkeling, but many people bought those packages. Looked like a lot of fun

All is good except that the hotel is a bit far from ferry terminal. Service is good and the hotel staff is very helpful. Due to long que at immigration counter, we've missed the hotel shuttle bus. The hotel staff helped to keep our luggage and arrange a local tour package with massage/dinner. We finally get on the bus at 8:30PM and spand the full next day enjoying the beach in hotel. Even though not expected, it's quite a comfort and time saving arrangement.
Hotel Feature Tip:
You'd better register your ferry information with the hotel after booking so that they will wait for you in case you are delayed at immigration counter.

I arranged for shuttle transfer from Tanjung Pinang; the driver was punctual and polite. The drive was around 1 hour. Check in and check out were quick and efficient. The room was very clean and spacious, the AC functioned well as did the water heater. Swimming pool was great. The beach is not so nice, the water is very shallow and it was quite dirty while I was there. Many water sports available. The Asiana Bistro restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced, and service was very good.

Nice resort but fewer people in the resort

Water sports was the best part. The first impression about the place and the resort wasn't that great but as time passed, it did not turn out to be bad. We played pool, did karaoke, water sports was not so expensive so we could do 4. All in all, the money spent was worth it.

Nice Spa and Restaurant with affordable price

i went their with my friend. we just stayed one night in bintan. because we have to travel in singapore... the resort location is quite far from ferry terminal(bbt terminal)... i had to take a free shuttle but for 1hr... and the resort building looks a little old and the swimming poor needs renovation... during the traveling day, it was heavy rain, so we have to stay at this resort.(touristic center of bintan is also far from here...so we have to stay anyway...)
when we got a massage at the resort, everything was perfect and we reserved it for the next day.
i really want to recommend to take a massage :-)
and the restaurant was also very satisfying for me and my friend.(affordable price with nice food)
there are a lot of water activities...
so, if you want spa, water sports, quiet place for rest, this resort it nice compared to the price.
staffs are so kind also!
