The place itself is very nice. Convenient to all attractions as there is a shuttle around the area and different hotels. The beach is very beautiful. We love the infinity pool! and the food is awesome! we will definitely go back there to visit other attractions!

This would be a great resort if not for the food. The staff were very friendly and helpful (though checkout was a little slow), our suite was lovely and there were quite a few activities around for us to do. But the food was pricey and not very tasty for the price. I hate to say this but avoid the Japanese restaurant - very very expensive for small portions that were not exceptionally tasty. I did come with the expectation that the food was pricey, but I did not expect that the quality would not be as high as the price commanded. The only restaurant that was remotely good and value-for-money was the Kelong restaurant, but that's out of the way... Suggest bringing some of your own instant noodles or snacks, or just eating at the Kelong restaurant the whole trip. But it was a nice getaway, and we appreciated how the driver who took us to our go-karting session waited for us (it rained halfway through) and did not mind that we were soaking wet when we got into the car. It's a comfortable resort and good getaway, but beware of the hefty food prices.

The room was really clean, and the service staff were very polite and helpful. We went over the Hari Raya weekend, and it was a full-house. The Coffee Shop was full on the 2nd morning, because of the crowd, and the staff did well to immediately open up the Poolside Restaurant to accommodate as many people as possible.

Clean and nice hotel.

Was greeted with a smile almost everywhere I went. Even the cleaners were polite.
Nirwana upgraded a deluxe room for free despite me booking a superior. Room is spacious and nice, well maintenanced and clean. Bed was very comfy. And whole room is stock up with all the neccessary items.
Breakfast was good with a nice spread of different food. Amenities of the resort kept me and my GF very occupied for 3 days. Water sports, indoor sports, outdoor sports and short trips to mangroves and jungle trek.
There was shuttle buses bringing you to go anywhere in the resorts even many places were within walking distance. There is a mini zoo there and best part of the hotel is the pool. Comes with jacuzzi and a bar in the middle of the pool. Can just have drinks and charge it all to the room. Saved the hassle of bringing out cash while swimming.
Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back for stay again.

Pros:
1. the overall Bintan resort is well organized. Pickup from ferry terminal and resort, internal shuttle bus. It is easy and safe to look around, and also within walk-able distance if you only wanna check within the resort area.
2. perfect place for long weekend gateway. We stayed there for 3d2n, relax and not boring at all. you can find everything within the resort: beach, swimming pool, eating, drinking, massage.
3. We visited the Dino Bistro restaurant 3 times. Nice and acceptable price. The steak is even better than sky 57, commented by bf(slightly biased as he was hungry :)
4. Fantastic massage at Kadaton. Deeply relaxed aft 90 mins massage and scrub, but price is also there (90sgd per pax).
Cons:
1. service is all right, but not that warm hearted. A little messy and long waiting time for arrival luggage.
2. staff is friendly but a little blur with nearby places, like nearby local Indonesian restaurants.
3. room is a little old and small, compared with photos.
4. long waiting time for new towel. Need to call them for towel replacement.
Travel tip:
it is a place for relax, but better not go there if you are looking for sightseeing/adventure.

Clean Room with Friendly Staff
The hotel staff are generally friendly and speak english. The services are good and turn your holidays mood on. Breakfast buffet is good with great variety.

It was a pleasant stay in Nirwana resort. The beach is not as nice as the displays on brochure and website but generally clean. It is family friendly with lots of activities for kids. Everything is in SGD with 10% service charge + 11% government tax.
