Its a very basic resort and good for those who wants to get away from everything. Would be better if the rooms are properly maintained and furnished. The beds are not even done properly but pillows and mattress were clean though.

Great place to have an absolute peace

I enjoyed every single minute staying at Yasin Bungalow. We stayed at the Deluxe Kuta In with Aircon, luckily our room faces the see and we got to see the sun rises in the sea every morning when we woke up.
The staff is very friendly, even though we always ask them repeat few times when we order food.
Strongly recommend to anyone who love to have their own space, just wanna run away from busy city life especially couples.

Great place!
The scenary, the high tide and low tide, the whole beach atmosphere

Me and a friend had gone for a weekend getaway to Bintan. Yasin was suggested by another friend of mine, and I would recommend it to anybody who will ask me in future as well.. We booked very late so couldnt get the wooden bunglow, so stayed at the Kuta inn room.. nonetheless the holiday was perfect!
But if you can get the wooden bunglow nothing like that, or so it seems.. though I am not sure of the mosquitoes..
The place were Yasin is set up is beautiful.. You can feel the high tide and low tide in the beach.. Its just a walk or they bikes to compute to and fro to their sister resort Agro beach.. which has a pool and all sea sports.
For a 2 day lazy weekend, perfect place!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We were told that we can rent a bike at the ocean bay resort which was a kilometer walk from yasin.. Though initially we were very keen, later we didn't feel the need to rent,

Kuta Inn room is very near the trees and roadside. Not suitable for those traveller who is a light sleeper and needs a good rest.
There is no water heater in the room.

Great hotel with nice view

we stayed in kuta but next day we moved to charlet with sea facing,it was great!! we love it!! beside nice view,staff there also friendly and polite,we did enjoy our holiday very much. there's no water heater unless u live deluxe kuta but i still think it'll be fantastic experience if u stay in bamboo charlet.
Restaurant Tip:
Should try kangkung,taste good! Avocado juice without sugar also not bad

Minimal hotel with nice surroudings

The room was very minimal and had strong smell of mothballs. Don't expect grand renovations or decor but i guess what you pay is what you get. There aren't much too see around except for lazing around its own beach. The only food available is in the hotel. Otherwise you can walk out about a 10min distance where there's a small local food stall (variety ain't much either). You can take the hotel's shuttle service for $10 for a city tour in the evening/night and eat in town.

The only bad is it takes too long time to go hotel from pier.
The staffs in there are very nice, they are so helpful all the time, and because I have booked the luxury room over there, there is air-conditioning, hot water supply and toilet flush. The most important thing is there are no inset bite I got during my stay.
And it's so good for taking photo over there! I belive that is the most money worth travel experience for me!

Reminding that there are no TV in the room, so please bring along your own entertainment if you afraid to bore.

Quaint, simple, affordable, outstanding views

I went with a group of friends for a mid-week trip and it was great. Not crowded at all, terrific scenery, a balcony that was directly over the ocean, how can that not be relaxing? Plus it was affordably priced. Everything there was great (including the food). My main complaint was with the sister resort. We went snorkeling and paid $40sing for a 3 hour trip. The masks were so broken that they filled up with water every 5 seconds, and I was breathing in salt water through the tube. After trying a couple different masks, I finally just free-styled around the boat. There was no good underwater scenery anyway, only a few pretty fish and a bunch of grey and brown coral. They ended up refunding us $10 for the unusable (oh, and did I mention moldy?) masks, but it was still the worst and most expensive snorkeling I've ever done.
Other than that it was great. There is no Internet, aircon or hot water so don't expect luxury, but if you want a simple, relaxing getaway, this place is great.

firstly, we don't plan anything for our holiday. we were spontaneous. we watched tv, see bintan program, then my wife said hey, why don't we go to bintan today? searched for resort, found yasin bungalow, saw the rating is 7.9, so we chose it.
we booked for deluxe with ac, but we moved into bungalow without ac. the room was on the beach, so lovely the view. we enjoyed so much, as the view is so romantic for me & my beautiful wife.
what's more : free suttle with motorbike-becak to bintan agro, where we did our sea-sports. also free suttle-car to a very lovely cabana beach. yasin, bintan agro & cabana are under the same management.
food is also very nice & not-so-high cost. they provide suttle also to bintan port with very low cost, comparing with common taxi rate.
overall stay comment : great location, good price, definitely will stay again at yasin for the next bintan visit.
