all our stay we got the suites, which are really nice. trendy design, spacious, huge bathrooms, nice pool & beach, very relaxing hotel staff might be a little incompetent in english, but generally friendly, restaurant are too expensive, and they do not provide free transport to town we came back here so many times, which means it is certainly good, think will be more fun if you go as a big group, as after awhile, u would most certainly run out of things to do

Newly renovated. So, it's clean. Kind crews. Nice beach. Dinner buffet was not as good as other resorts'. It's clean, cozy and beach is nice. Everyone in resort was kind. However, they need to progress in dinner buffet, I think. All in all, it's good.
Hotel Feature Tip : This resort is being renovated so, room is very clean. It's not crowded and it's very nice to someone who need to relax.

Clean, feel relax, well facilities Little bit far away from town The resort is good. I felt in holiday and taking rest. The facilities are good and the staff are nice, friendly and helpful. There are a lot of resturants in the resort but some of them were booked for private function. So that I had a few choices to choose. Although I only stayed for 1 night in this resort, I will viist there for more nights next time.

too many non-smoking rooms with smoke i've stayed at the bintan lagoon resort a few times now, at both the villas and the hotel.
the villas are great, especially if you are there with friends. this time we stayed at the
hotel. it's a very easy hotel for a weekend getaway, they pick you up at the hotel to
take you directly to the hotel and back again the other way. you just have to find out
when the shuttle to the airport leaves so that you get there in time for your flight (there
is a set schedule). we had some trouble getting a non-smoking room though, but the
staff worked with us to get a room without smoke in the end. it seems they have a lot
of rooms that are supposed to be non-smoking, but then guests smoke in them
anyway and the smoke stink remains. so it took a few tries to find a room that was
actually non-smoking. there is obviously no fine/charge to guests who smoke in their
non-smoking rooms, and no effort to fully clean them out afterward. it's unfortunate. in
the process of looking for a room, we noticed that some of the rooms there are "nicer"
than others, in that some have been renovated more recently. this includes the
tv--some rooms had flat screens and others didn't. minor point, but if that sort of thing
matters to you, you could try to ask for a newer room. overall, the grounds are nice,
the staff are friendly, and the food isn't bad. good spot for a weekend away

The hotel is very well maintained and kept alive by the hospitable staff. Sandflies at the beach and jellyfish in the sea. The hotel is very well maintained and kept alive by the hospitable staff. It has vast expanse of land and offers a sanctuary away from the buzz. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome dancers when we arrived in the morning. The welcome drink was refreshing and served when we alighted from the hotel coach, it made a new visitor pleasantly happy. Thereafter, we were greeted by a very friendly and customer focused officer who helped us check in. The rooms are lovely, clean and well kept. There is a polo shop in the hotel and a minimart, in case you need something. Though, things are very pricey and limited, it helps to bring some of your own munchies.
The grounds are huge, it has 2 swimming pools. We enjoyed walking around the large grounds. The gym is great and very well equipped. You must take a look at the villas, they are really nice. I will surely come back again with my family the next time.

The cozy room and beach coupled with good customer service. The floor in the rooms are not carpetted and the food quality. Overall, I had a nice stay in Bintan Lagoon Resort. I am quite impressed by the coziness of the room and the convenience of the club car made available for rental to the resort guests. However, the standard and quality of the food in the restaurants need to be improved. I will come back sometime again.

There are many attractions and we can enjoy many activities not only marine sports. We have to pay some fee for each attractions. Italian restaurant is good atomosphire for cupple. Cost effecive of Japanese restaurant is not so good. Not only this hotel but we prefer more cleanly bath room for relaxing stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Bintan. The courtesy of the staff is exemplary. The linen did not smell fresh. The room was still humid despite the aircon being on. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Bintan resort. The beach is nice and clean. You can also go to the rocks and have a nice view of the beach from there. The resort did a good job with housekeeping and maintaining orderliness throughout. The courtesy of the staff is exemplary. There is quite a few stores to shop inside the resort. If you play golf, this is a good place as there are two courses you can choose. Either course is actually good. If you have the energy, you can play one, then the other with lunch in between. Either course has a good scenery. The food is decent. I like the simple ones by the pool. At night, there are a few restaurants at the resort to choose from. The only complaint I have is that the linens did not smell fresh. Hopefully, the hotel can improve on that as I also sent dropped a complaint note (but I did not get a response).

Room size, service & ameneties Morning paper for all rooms not available and signages are not very clear but helpful staff were more than happy to show us the way. Overall enjoyed our short stay but pricing could have been better being the off-peak season and all. The service staff were fantastic and really appreciated all the help they provided during our stay.
Room was clean and comfortable. Great for families with children. Signs for the places of interest could be more prominent.
Restaurant Tip : The Japanese restaurant was great! A bit pricey but great service!

Very closet to the Golf corse, it takes only 2 min on foot. Also there is a driving range. Bath room is not confortable for me. We can enjoy 36 hols of golf course beside the hotel and we satisfied golf lesson at reasonable price at the driving range.

The room is nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. We didn't like the 3pm check in since we arrived in the morning and had no room for the most part of the day. Japanese restaurant cost is very expensive.
I think toilet and Bath water over flow and also leek is going to be problem. I book deluxe sea view room and enjoy very much during stay there. I have stayed this hotel three times so far.
Anyway this hotel strong points is wonderful nature and sea view and nice also design and good location of Golf country club here.
I like this kind of environment so that I want to come back again.

The decor of the rooms and the furniture were very tired and in need of an update. Our room also had a very musty smell to it which made it unpleasant to spend any time there. Everything over-priced for what you got including restaurants, facilities, golf course, etc.
The saving grace is the proximity to 2 very good golf courses and the beach.

Great service, wonderful beach and pools, wide range of outdoor activities. Limited variety of food, room was a little old, TV had poor reception. This is my third time to Bintan Lagoon Resort this year. I was quite looking forward to the trip as a short break but this trip left me a little disappointed. As I have pretty much tried most of the food, I had difficulty choosing what I felt like eating this time round. Also, since it was monsoon season, I was stuck in the room quite a bit and was unhappy with the poor TV reception. The service is still tops, and I love the beach and the pool for tanning. If you go during the weekday, it's almost all yours! At the end of the day, this is a great place for first-timers and non-monsoon season where you can go out and bum around at the beach or try the wide range of outdoor activities available. For those who've been there a couple of times before, it gets a little boring.
