"good experience with akmani hotel"
i feel good experience with akmani. akmani is a good hotel with good service. i surprised with room which is have unssual bathroom (window from bed) so unique. i think akmani is smart choice for rest and spend time with family.

The hotel is quite new & clean, it's also quite romantic for couples and the staffs are responsive when you need something.
The Lobby and rooms are overall nice.
Negative points for this hotel is the very small swimming pool, and the location of the swimming pool which is exactly beside the restaurant. My experience is water splashing from the pool at the time I had breakfast.
And the parking space of this hotel is also too cramped. I'm lucky because I visited at a low season so not many guests stayed here.

Small hotel with nice location and friendly staffs

The check-in process took a bit time (15mins) after I sat and spoke to the reception agent, we have to wait for the supervisor to come out and help with the check-in, not sure what happened. But they served us a welcome drink. But after that, everything went smoothly. Love the room, it was sophisticated and spacious. The breakfast menu was ok, we can still get our breakfast even though we got there 5-10mins after the breakfast time over. The pool is soooo small, the location is side by side to the breakfast area, a lot of kids were playing in the pool and the water splashes all over the places, thankfully not much to the restaurant.
I can only say I love the room and the friendly staffs.

Akmani hotel is along Jl. Wahid Hasyim next to the Sarinah mall and Thamrin. There are a lot of restaurant choices within walking distance from very cheap food to expensive ones. The hotel facade is simple with straight lines. Once you are inside the lobby, one's reaction is that it is spacious for such a small hotel. The room is well-designed - Large kingsized bed,with writing table and with a see-through shower.The only downside is the small 24" LCD TV - it should be bigger.
Buffet breakfast is so-so. The service is fine. The internet cable inside the room does not work and so I had to do my emails in the hotel lobby or restaurant.
