decent hotel, good service

the room was ok, nice bed. no view and the street of the actual hotel gets dirty at night. close to grand indonesia but too hot to walk. breakfast was not so good. pool and gym were both very small.

Usual Smooth Stay at Akmani
Location is Great Value for Money and Free Internet

as normal hotel provided reliable and good quality accommodation with speedy internet and clean and comfortable rooms. for the money its hard to get much better than this.
Shopping Tip:
Jakarta is a shoppers heaven, you can spend hours in the mall from lunch until after dinner, many even have their own nightclubs.

this is a top end hotel in the center of jakarta. all staff are completely fluent in english, the service are exceptional. the location of the hotel is very strategic but with that comes the headaches of jakarta traffic.

hotel is nice and cozy to stay for both leisure and business trip. all hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. location wise is very strategic for food (local food too), shopping (malls) and all are walking distance. which is good due to the traffic jam (most of the time).
i will be staying in this hotel again when i come back to jakarta.

Usual Good Value Stay in Central Jakarta

As usual the Akmani represented excellent value with good high speed internet and a decent enough breakfast thrown in. Room not ready on arrival but prepared quickly. No problems although fam in the bathroom a bit noisy, and the aircon could have been cooler.
Restaurant Tip:
If you want a burger try a Mos Burger, a Japanese chain with a food hold in Indonesia in some of the plusher malls. Had my first Mos Burger today and it was delicious!

These is quite a new hotel and with a simple but nice modern design. The location of this hotel is good which near the cetral of the city. There are pleanty of restaurent nearby and the travel distance to airport is barely more than 30minutes. The staff could speak good english and are very helpful indeed.

The shopping area is in the walking distance

very nice, clean, comfortable rooms. i liked the grand suite. the staff were very helpful and friendly. the resturants were good as well. really nice swimming pool too!

Tourist-class hotel which looks better than it is

For a not-so-old hotel, the condition of the rooms and public areas are worse for wear. The rooms are predominantly in black & brown, so they look and feel dark. Housekeeping is OK but dust and dirt is noticeable in corners and unused surfaces. The staff are pleasant enough but lacking follow-through. Forget about the breakfast, it's almost unpalatable. Hotel is well located near a busy food street and a short walk to Sarinah or quick taxi ride to the major shipping malls (subject to traffic conditions of course). That, the price, and a decent night's sleep are probably the only plus points.

Good location, but servise not so good.

My room was dirty and towel not so clean. Food was not good so i had a stomachache. I just have no choice but to stay in this hotel due hi season, but hopefully its not happened again
