- Good Spa This hotel has an Excellent breakfast, my best ever! there are about 5 cooks working on a western/asian dimsum-toast-nasi breakfast, even the juices and coffees are good!
The rooms are clean and the Spa is good.
I don't have (m)any cons, but if i have to say something: the location, it is not really in the city centre. but jakarta's nightlife isnt that special at all.

Rooms (furniture) could use a little renovation. Great modern and quite spot in the middle of Jakarta. Perfect breakfast, rooms are okay but not specially recommandable.

Overall good experience. Nice clean rooms and pretty good service. Good Shanghai style and 'western' restaurants and a nice cafe. 1. Cost of printing a document in the business centre was ridiculous.
2. Surrounding area of Jakarta isn't very interesting... I enjoyed the hotel because it was smart and modern, new business hotel. Nice clean lines architecturally and almost minimalist decor improved the experience for me. Pretty good service; mostly helpful, english speaking staff. Better hotel and service than some brand name, more expensive hotels I stayed in in Jakarta [near the airport].
Restaurant Tip : I always explore outside, around a hotel before I accept to eat in a hotel restaurant...with this one don't bother!! It is the best restaurant I could find in the area.

boutique hotel. very clean. attentive services. location is poor. inconvenience if you need to buy anything. only a small mini-mart about 100m on the left hand side of the hotel, hidden in a corner somemore. less choices for food & beverage quite a good hotel overall. value for money. breakfast spread not too bad as well. only drawback is the location of the hotel. security is well in-placed.

near to the Monas. I liked the contemporary design of this hotel, located in the north of the Monas. This luxurious hotel has nice view from highest rooms,
big outdoor swimming pool, piano bar and very good restaurant and breakfast (French cook). Rooms are quiet, large, clean and comfortable.
Money changer is also available in the hotel.

Modern hotel, good location & helpful staff. Clean rooms. Good value for money. Modern hotel with all the facilities expected from 4 star hotel. Good location shopping area & malls not far away, transport readily available.
Staff were very helpfull & courteous. Rooms clean & spacious. Breakfast excellent with good service. Reasonable size swiming pool with sauna on the six floor. If I go to Jakarta again I do not mind to stay at the same hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Travel in gov. buses rather than taxis & rickshaws.

Good service, spacious rooms, clean and safe place. Location for the first timer a bit difficult to find but very central though. I stayed 2 days in Alila and enjoyed it. Good service, nice big and quiet swimming pool on the 6th floor (no traffic noise). Great breakfast.
Good steam room and sauna. Excellent place to relax and escape fom the burstling annoying citylife of Jakarta. Breathtaking view from hotel room (located on 21st floor).

free internet broadband, great restaurant and friendly and customer oriented staff limousine services to airport, towels are not white cleaned, DVD and music player not available. I am really surprised with the upgraded service of providing free internet broadband services. It used to be paid wifi internet connection and worst still, the connection is not good. This is really a welcomed upgraded services. \n\nThe staffs remained as friendly and helpful as well although there are a lot of new faces since the last time I am there. Nevertheless, they have provided an exceptional impression of outstanding customer services.\n\nThe chinese restaurant is also great. They have a variety of menu with chefs specially flown from China. \n\nThe only thing lacking is that the cleanliness level of the towels have dropped. They used to be clean and very white but now it's not the case anymore.
Restaurant Tip : The seafood restaurant down at the hotel and beside the main road are very good.

Great place, great design, staff really nice, the best breakfast that we have had in hotel. Room really comfortable and nice. Swimming pool,sauna, gym club was great.We cannot found any reproach. We have found the right place for discovering the city. Really nice place, design, comfortable. We have eaten the best breakfast that we have eaten during our long trip. Staff really nice except if you bought a gift in the gift shop they don't have any boxes for gifts. Room was really quiet. Comfortable and really good decoration taste with all the standard equipement. Mattress was really good. Swimming pool is clean and large. Sauna and Gym club well outfitted. To summarize, we recommend the Alila hotel as the really best hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take time to discover the people with always a great smile in a really poor city. The best experience of our life.

Quiet hotel. Nicely designed. Good service. The location is not that central. Alila is normally my choice hotel for stays in Jakarta. It's not that expensive and it's nicely designed. Noting that Alila Jakarta has been featured in the well known book "Design Hotels". Although it's not as Cool as some W Hotels; it still has some elements of modern sophistication. I have to highlight at this juncture that the material finishes in the room are quite basic nothing luxurious(ie Homogenous tiles insteed of marble). The location is not fantastic. If there is no traffic you could get to the main city area (ie where Hyatt and EX shopping centre is.)in 15mins However everyone knows that traffic in Jakarta is terrible. Alila is nice and quiet. Mainly because its a fairly small hotel and not near any shopping centres. Service is good. I came down late for breakfast one day and breakfast was over. Most all the food had been cleared. The service staff offered to prepare a selected breakfast plate for my guest and I. He even brought out a small fruit platter as well. Recommended for it's price point and service. However due to the location make sure you have a driver or friends to pick you up from the hotel.

The hotel is nice and new, the staff are pretty good. No real nightlife in the hotel. The hotel is pretty good, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is worth getting up early for, a little expensive for the other meals though, the hotel doesn't have a bar nor a club, they do have a foyer though, if you want a nice place this is it, but i would go down the street a bit.
