Got upgraded to a junior suite, big room and bathroom, clean. Good breakfast spread. A decent 4 to 5 stars hotel at good rate. Apparently is the old Hyatt. No shopping malls or eateries within sight or walking distance. After check-in, waited half hr for luggage to arrive room. Would still come if rates are good, otherwise, will stay elsewhere more conveniently located to malls etc. Breakfast spread is good, but need to search for your own table during peak hour. When you are back with food, find someone sitting at your table. Good room amentities. Mini Bar, saftey boxes, kettle, and 2 complimentry bottles of drinking water per day.

great service, appropriately priced dinning, perfect location to get to the US Embassy quickly. Best hotel I've stayed at thus far in Indonesia. Hotel was very helpful. Had a great steak at the restaurant. It was appropriately priced for a hotel of this nature. Chose this hotel because it's within walking distance to the US Embassy. Will have all my American friends stay there when they have morning meetings at the Embassy. I didn't have the correct European power converter but hotel service was able to quickly provide me with one.

Excellent Service, big rooms and nice gym. All in all good quality for the price. I even had a free upgrade to Junior Suite because my confirmed room was not available anymore.
Location - depending on traffic it takes you between 15 - 30 minutes to the city centre.
Very good hotel even though the interior is a little old. Breakfast buffet is simply great and really good value for money. Excellent business traveller hotel.

Close location to the major Jakarta monuments I love the location of hotel to the nearby cultuarl sites. The front desk staff provided good information on sight seeing logistics and train destinations. Very helpful. The breakfast buffet was good mix of western and Asian food.
Hotel Feature Tip : The nearby train station has buses that will take you to airport for 20K Rupiah. The bus company is Damri. This is alot cheaper than the 120K - 150K that taxis charge.

Good service, nice room, great bar and variety of food to choose from. - Location is not too good. No shopping centres or tourist attractions by walking distance.
- No complimentary broadband access. (Should consider providing it for in-house guests) My 2 nights stay was a pleasant one. Its a nice hotel and provide good value for money. Satisfied with the cleanliness and good service from hotel staffs. Nice spacious room with good interior and a very big bed. Luv the hotel but location is not great. As soon as we step out of the hotel, there is no particular direction to go as no shopping centres or interesting places is around the area. We ended up taking taxi everywhere. Also, a bit pricey to have broadband access in the room. Overall, Aryaduta is a good hotel. You may like to stay here.
Nightlife Tip : Go down to Tavern Bar for drinks and live entertainment. Thumbs up.

Nice and freindly workers. Need to pay for broadband connection. Most hotels are given it free nowadays. Overall, the hotel is quite nice. I only do not like it does not provide FREE broadband access for guests.
The hotel staffs are polite and responsive to my requests. It has some kind of security measures at the entrance that create some inconvenience but certainly makes me feel safe to stay there. The band at the Tavern bar is entertaining. Food at lobby lounge, Tavern bar and Japanese restaurant are quite good.

clean, good breakfast, good hospitality, should make some renewal of the hotel, hotel furniture. the price against the service is somewhat accepted, but i prefer to go to another hotel. also i can classify this hotel as 4 stars more than 5 stars, it is not so bad you can try.

SURROUNDING LOCALITY COULD BE MORE CLEAN

The surrounding locality is not too clean ...but...
As regards the breakfast , spread is really good but this time on the last two days of my trip, because of the holidays, there were too many people having breakfast and a lot of the stuff was over and the staff could have arranged to replenish the stuff which they were not doing.
otherwise very cooperative staff.
The pre paid internet card that the hotel provides is convenient though they can provide complimentary internet for guests staying for more than 3 nights.

We stayed here for 2 nights and we were really satisfied with the services here, the convenience, staff attitude, and easy access to internet, taxi services and other services. The pool is very nice. The place is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is excellent with lots of choices. The room rate is very reasonable considering it is a 5-star hotel and located in the centre of Jakarta. The only dis-advantage is the room is a bit tiny.
If I have chances to visit Jakarta, I definitely will stay here.

Rooms facilities were comfortable Too noisy on either side of the Hotel. Cannot sleep due to the noise of traffic on one side or Mosque chanting through loud speakers on the other side.
I was very disappointed with my stay at this Hotel. Initially I asked to be allocated a quiet room because each night I need to have a good nights sleep in order to remain focused and alert for my business meetings each day. On the "back" side of the Hotel there is a Mosque that bellows chants through a loud speaker at numerous intervals throughout the night and early mornings, and on the "front" side of the Hotel the continuous traffic noise (all night) was loud enough to keep me awake all night, even though I was located on the top floor of the Hotel. They seriously need to consider something like double glazing of the windows to overcome this problem. I could not and will not stay at this Hotel in the future.
Travel tip : Location was suitable to my personal business needs but without sleep due to excessive noise, I could not recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Reasonable price for 5 stars. Rooms are not really clean especially the bed. This hotel provided good value for money. Location is out for shopping area but accessable to other areas. Whilst the rooms are clearly dated and require a little updating you can tell the class of the old Hyatt Hotel is still there. THe breakfast is good, and really the food in the Hotel is good and again offers reasonable value for money. Try the Tavern pub for German food or just for chill out.
Restaurant Tip : Traven pub.

Hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly. The coffee shop has a very efficient and friendly staff. The menu is very good and the kitchen staff responded to our special requests, which were quite a few. Breakfast is very good quality , especially Asian. This hotel is specially strong for F&B. Even the give away apple and oranges at the reception desk are of good quality. Room and linen are of 5 stars quality. Location is hard to get around and stand a lone. his hotel is very strong in Food and Beverage. The staffs are very friendly and professional.I did enjoy the food , we had Indonesian lunch there, and breakfast buffet was exceptional. The room is spacious and well kept with exceptionally fine linen. It is a good bargain for the price comparing with other property in Jakarta. This is a hotel we will definitely come back to when we are in Jakarta.
Restaurant Tip : This hotel is strong with Food. Quality is good and price reasoable. No need to go out to eat.

- Price is reasonable Came in late and they give me a free upgrade. Room is much better than i expected considering the price with very nice modern design. Has many nicely placed mirrors everywhere, ladies will definately love it. Would definately recommend to anyone.

Easy to head into 3 different directions.
Good bar, The Tavern Pub.
Very good breakfast. Check-in and check-out was a bit slow.
The room looked quite old and need some renovation. Check-in was a bit slow, considering that not many people were there. The room I got was still in the same design as it was many years ago when I first came to this hotel.
Pool and Fitness Center got some makeover and look very nice. The breakfast does not leave any open wish.
Check-out once again, was a bit slow.

Location is very convenient I stayed just one night in this hotel. Location is very convenient as this is near from the station. Room was very clean and well prepared. Just the north view from the window was not good. I visited Japanese restaurant in the hotel, but taste was not acceptable for its high price. In general, this hotel seems okay in Jakarta as compared to others.
