nice hotel but bad location

the aryaduta is a nice hotel but unfortunately it is located right in the middle of the commercial district. this makes travelling very difficult as peak hour traffice jams are serious and as result i lost an important business appointment because of the traffice congestion. i would recommend that if you need to be travelling around very quickly, you need to look for a hotel located away from the busy commercial area.

I travel a lot and i always seek the comfort and location of the hotel. I stayed in many hotels and i always demand the best. This hotel is one of the best hotels i stayed in the price is reasonable compare to the facilities and view of the hotel. The hotel located around the beach and connected to the red sea mall. The mall is huge and have the best food court. You can enjoy the sea view and the mall all in one hotel. The staff are friendly i recommend this hotel.

Even though this hotel is kinda old, but in term of overall i have no complain. I would recommend this hotel for business trip since it's pretty close in business area. Since Jakarta is famous with the traffic, so this hotel is the option if you stay in Jakarta. Near the mall. In walking distance.

We cannot fault this hotel or the wonderful smiling and friendly staff It was very clean and our room attendants Cepi and Indra were exceptional The breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety of food which has to be seen to be believed We would recommend the Aryaduta Semanggi Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, well serviced place to stay

the staff were very friendly and come handy with our need,
within mall in close to reach, there are no problem either for eating or doing groceries.

Maybe it's because of public holiday, we choose to book 3 room apartment, but we only got breakfast for 2 person instead of 4 person. Usually, we got breakfast for 4 person.
There's no free wifi in public area, unless you're willing to pay...
Housekeepers are fast (which is rare for hotels in indonesia)

This excellent hotel hosts great service, wonderful accommodations and proximity to central Jakarta. With this proximity comes almost constant traffic and resulting significant delays. What should be a 20 minute cab ride can become 2 hours easily. Some times of the day travel too and from the hotel are simply not possible without a significant investment of time. That being said - for things that are very close to the hotel and the hotel itself, the value is plumb excellent. Lastly, as is the case with many Jakarta hotels, walking (by foot) near the hotel is far from enjoyable (and sometimes dangerous).
Shopping Tip:
The mall close by the hotel is okay - but for shopping I found the Pondok Indah mall better...for a quick purchase.

Hotel staff are polite, nice, helpful and they are the most valuable thing of this hotel.
The rooms is tired but I found it was comfortable and clean. Problem arises from maintenance. It's not difficult to repair a broken leg of the bed and replacement of a blooded mattress cover won't cost a lot. The rate was overpriced according to the condition.
Porta Venezia's breakfast buffet is delicious and also a good choice for dinner.
Location is very convenient, just 5min walk to Plaza Semanggi and you can have many choices of catering. Big supermarket on lower ground. Don't miss the coffee bun of a bakery on ground floor and the adjacent crepes is also a must try. Although a little pricey, there is a 24hr convenient store at the hotel.
Btw, the concierge staff are really very helpful and the room service is prompt. We had a satisfactory stay.
I recommend the hotel to traveller due to adjacent to the intersection and a big plaza nearby and is suitable for someone who travel with a group of friends or family. Not luxury but rather like living in you own house with everything in need (even washing machine in your apartment). The helpful concierge will make your trip perfect.
