pretty much satisfied with this hotel since near the beach, ancol park and mata elang stadium which is usualy the place for world class music concert.

nice and good looking hotel with complete facility including retaurant, swimming pool, mini market, etc. perfect place for family trip, since it located close to a recreation center area (ancol & dunia fantasi). hotel is easy to reach from out of town and airport, close to the highway exit.
a bit bothered with the traffic jam close to the hotel entrance gate, took about 20 minute to detour from the highway exit, to reach the hotel entrace.
but overall satisfy with the hotel service and facility. recommended hotel for a family vacation, relaxation and leisure.

travel from airport to aston marina took me about 45 mins is quite a reasonable journey.taxi driver has a welcome and smiling and introduce jakarta sight seeing places.along the way, traffic were heavy and occasionally jammed.
i hope i will choice aston hotel the next visit.

We stayed there for 3 nights during Easter long weekend holiday. On arrival in the evening, the hotel was packed with some groups arriving, though the check-in process was smooth. One of my worst experiences when staying in this hotel. Had room #1001, the outermost room, it was very noisy throughout the day and night as the hotel and the room is just next to the busy toll way and intersection with LOTS of trailer trucks from nearby seaport and warehousing area of North Jakarta. The window insulation is non-existent. Moreover, noise also coming from the exhaust fan in the hallway in front of the door. But that's not the worst part staying there. Unintentionally we left a dress and a pair of pants (positive 1000%), and the hotel didn't even bother call us after checking out. Called the hotel the next day after we found it out, and they simply say no lost reported. Bad service! I don't think I would stay there again.
Shopping Tip:
The only positive point of this hotel is its location. Just next to the entrance of Ancol amusements area, beach, and marina. Also not too far from Mangga Dua shopping district.
