Great Location near Ancol Area

I stayed one nigh in Aston Marina Hotel, wow wonderfull experience. So near with Ancol Area and so nice to book Taxi for trasportation. Because Shopping center ( Mangga 2 Square)not so far from Aston, just 10 mnt by Taxi and very cheap. So we can take a walk in Ancol Area, that is good panoramas.

Large room and great sea view

We stayed at 25 floor during our visit at Jakarta. The sea view from the hotel is great. However a bad smell from the near river is horrible. I rent an apartment with 2 rooms. Size is large and my 3 kids happy to play around. The clean is average. This hotel is near by to Mangga Dua shopping complex. But if you want to have a good shopping especially for indon clothes, just call a taxi and drop by to Tanah Abang. Here is a heaven for the shopper but you have to buy with glosir/bulk.

during my stay it was during the weekends. even though the access was bad due to the heavy traffic. in the hotel was even a heavier traffic happening. i had to use only my 1 lift most of the time to access to my room. imagine how inconvenient it is everytime the lift is full and i had to go up to 30th floor.

the interior of the room is ok, but when our family first came to the hotel, the floor is dirty, the bathroom is still dirty and the bed sheet is dirty. we order room service to clean the room but it takes a while for the employee to come. when i take the shower, the shower holder is loose because the old screw. and then there is the old tv with a bad signal. the breakfast is cold when i eat it, and it isn't taste so good as the other 4 star hotel. the hotel is expensive but the features isn't that good.

Very Big Hotel, good position.
Very near the highway, ok for Business purpose.

I needed a hotel for one night in North Jakarta, and that one was available. It's very big and impressing, really near the highway. A lot of traffic jam around, not easy to get in.
Rooms are a bit old fashioned but big and clean. I tried the restaurant Lobby Floor and it is ok. They have live music during night, just Piano + Bass + Singers. The Bar is nice.
No Fitness center, which is a very bad point for me. It's not far from Mangga Dua square.

A hotel with large rooms and good service

the front desk staff were very attentive and efficient. the hotel is located half an hour (was travelling at night) from the airport. the standard rooms are large enough that there was a dedicated kitchen area. rooms and toilets are clean. not carpeted though. overall, my stay experience was good. breakfast was also good enough for me. international buffet.

I had a very pleasant stay in Aston Marina. The staff are friendly, easy access to Mangga Dua. The apartment is clean and the facilities are quite good. I shall stay here again on my next trip.
