Nice rooms, good breakfast

I have stayed a lot of times in this hotel but I only encounter 1 problem.Signal for handphone is very poor. It is very frustrating when you need to make or receive calls urgently. Everything else is good. Maybe the hotel can provide wifi in every rooms instead of internet connection by cable.

we stayed in this lovely hotel for 4 days. me and my family enjoyed the stay in it. my 7 years old son enjoyed swimming in its swimming pool. the room was big enough and the decoration was great. breakfast had a lot of choices. staff was friendly and served us with big smile. my only concerns about this hotel was the a/c as it's not that cold and the same goes for the refrigerator. though, i'm satisfied with the stay.

all are good except the ac, ac is very noisy, i cannot sleep if open the ac, so i turn off ac at temprature of 33centi degree.

Hotel and residences mixed, make less comfortable using hotel's facilities, elevator crowded uncomfort. Room was nice with friendly housekeeping staff, wide selection for breakfast.Nice walking distance to some Shopping Mall
Overall, I still enjoy my stay...

Lovely Hotel with accessible location

at this hotel, my family and i enjoyed the stay in it. though the location is not on a main street, it is accessible and easy to reach. the staff surved us with big smile and helped us at the most. the a/c and refrigerator was not that cold. in general, it's good experience.

The hotel is not so far from mangga dua square (about 10 min walk). This location is also so close to Ancol. It has a lot of facilites to be used. The breakfast was quite good. My family and Me enjoyed the stay in this hotel and i would recommend it for luxury stay with offering price.

i was disappointed when i reach the hotel. it does not look like a 4 star hotel. the staff were helpful. i found a tiny bug that looks like a cockroach near the bed. the lift takes too long since we were on the 33rd floor(highest). other than that the room was ok. the bed and the bathroom are quite spacious. there was a bathtub with hot shower, hairdryer, sprinklers near the toilet, complete toiletries set, queen size bed and flat screen tv. its located in the mangga dua area which the one of the busiest trading place in Jakarta. so the traffic can be frustrating on peak hours. we chose this hotel because it was near to my friend's place. if not, i would've gotten other hotel for the same price. it is quite close to ancol which is where the seaworld and dufan theme park are located. lots of shopping around mangga dua area, ITC, harco, etc.
Shopping Tip:
mangga dua itc is a good place for shopping which is right next door. you can find everything you need there but need to bargain especially for tourists. they sell mostly everything from fashion goods for men and women, fake branded stuff, to electronics and even opticians, etc. you can buy in bulk or retail at different prices, but you have to bargain.

stayed at BW Mangga Dua for the second time and found out that most of the building floors are actually condo units. only 5 floors are allocated to the hotel itself. thus creating a problem with the 3 lifts that they have. when it gets busy, waiting for the lift takes 5 minutes (i timed it) and being on the higher floors do not help. during the last day of my stay (Sunday), suprisingly the lifts were quick, maybe the residents were sleeping in that day....
apart from the lifts, the hotel is good value for money compared to the other 4-5 star hotels.
