Absolutely perfect transit hotel

After spending hours online looking for a decent hotel near the Jakarta airport we decided to give FM7 a try for a quick overnight stopover. It far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 to 15 minutes from the airport, with free shuttle service. The rooms are not fancy but exactly what we we prefer, large, simple, neat and clean with a modern design. Even the bathroom was large, neat and clean which is not necessarily a given in even nice Indonesian hotels. We had some time to kill the next day before our flight and the spa services were awesome. Large pool, hot tub, cold tub, large steam room and dry sauna were all nice and clean and we had them to ourselves. The massages are very good and well priced. The only thing that wasnt fabulous was the restaurant. Just your typical Indonesian style buffet fare for breakfast and the usual items for lunch/dinner but even the food was fine for an overnight stay.
We travel to Indo every year for surfing and usually have to spend a night or two in Jakarta. We have stayed in some fancy hotels that didnt come even remotely close to the comfort level of this hotel. We will definitely be staying at the FM7 from now on!

The FM7 hotel is a very good choice if you need to stay in Jakarta just for a one night waiting for flight somewhere else in Indonesia. Very good and free airport transfer. Big rooms, free swimming pool.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the FM7 Resort Hotel. I didn't think that I would take advantage of the Spa facilities, so I was a bit skeptical about choosing this particular property. I found the pools and sauna and steam room to be a very nice addition to the typical airport hotel. The facilities were clean and modern, and even the bathing suit was provided, so I didn't need to get mine wet just before traveling 36 hours.

The best part of this hotel is its location. It is best for those on business trips who need easy access to the airport. Mind you though, please use the blue bird to go to this hotel, if you take an individual taxi that is parked at the parking lot it will cost you Rupiah, trice the normal price. There are always blue birds waiting for you at the hotel so you will have no problem in visiting Jakarta downtown. Depends a lot on traffic conditions but it will cost you approximately Rupiah to go to downtown. The hotel does have a spa and karaoke but has no swimming pool.
Restaurant Tip:
Since the hotel is just next to the airport there is no decent restaurant near it. The hotel food itself is good but if you want to enjoy some cuisines, you should have your meals outside and then come back.

used for transit. It takes 15 minutes by taxi from airports, and its costs about 20,000IDR by meter. They have free shuttle bus to airport but it takes longer because it drives different routes. There are no restaurants & shops around the hotel. So you have to stay hotel. Room & facilities are simple but no problem for transit.

Near to the airport, the free pickup service is a good feature after a long travel.

otherwise the hotel is very basic and also too expensive compared to the rooms condition and to the services provided by the hotel. the wifi is not free of charge, moreover it is overpriced. rooms do not have windows, just a big surface of glass looking to a construction site, so the room has no air and the bathroom is stinky. i only recommend it if you stay one night and have an early morning flight.

Terrible noisy hotel, it's a chinese type hotel.
Almost nothing but closer to airport, after my experience I would rather pay more and stay at airport hotel or Sheraton airport and feel more comfort without having to experience traffic jam and the price is not cheqp either

the only reason i choose this hotel because on the website it looks so nice.. considering the price which is not too cheap, i'd rather choose another hotel. noisy, traffic jam, bad! it's chinese type hotel definitely!!!
