gran mahakam gave me the impression of a nice cosy european style hotel experience. hotel staff are all very friendly & efficient. guest room are clean & very comfortable especially the bed selection. hotel security are tight which is a good thing. although it's abit away from the city, but i'll still stay there on my next visit to jakarta for sure!! thanks to agoda!

location is rather far from main shopping district, about 8-15mins cab ride depending on the traffic conditions
- Restaurant Tip : although hotel is abit distance from the main city, but there are few nice restaurants within walking distance still. as well as a medium size, mid end shopping mall call blok-M mall.

We were pleasantly surprised at the service promptness during our stay there, all that we asked for were accommodated for and those items that they did not have , they politely apologised. Made ous stay in Jakarta a pleasurable one. Thank ypu.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay with great help from the very friendly staff that were always prompt and very polite. Even at 2:30am in the morning.
Pleasant surroundings, with fantastic service staff and great food.
Pool facilities (i.e jacuzzi jet not working) and location of gym.

The Gran Mahakam Hotel is Situated within a five minute walk from the Block "M" Shopping Complex, so a nice relaxing walk to spend some hours shopping for whatever you want, there are many places to eat in the Shopping Complex as well. If you want to venture further afield, then the Hotel has the Bluebird line of Taxis available at the front of the Hotel, they are very reasonably priced, clean and efficient and will take you to any Part of Jakarta you wish. The Hotel Staff are very friendly and make you most welcome. The rooms are clean and nice, nothing really special for the price, but clean and nice.

Even though everything was at such a good high standard the price of accommodation, food and drinks were very reasonable. A rare find.
- Shopping Tip : Block M shopping center is a five minutes walk away.
