Hotel condition is very money valued with clean room and nice sleep. However, it's located in a busy China town area. Its location is in the busy and noisy area which spinned my head. On the whole, it's ok for the short term period or the people who are enthusiasm in IT as this hotel is surrounded by IT Malls and Cloth Markets. Moreover,we can find some food with good taste at Rice Bowl Restuarant in the building beside the hotel. Additionally, it's easy for the people who want to shop at Bundung Factory outlets as the Taxi can take you right away with little traffic in the city.
Shopping Tip : If you like cloth + IT shopping, you can stay here. Rice Bowl restaurant is my favourite one, but only one staff can speak English. If you want to dine out at the food court, make sure that you arrive there before 4.00 PM. Otherwise, you will have less choices of food and some shops will close.

The condition of the Hotel is very good. Even the restaurant is quite OK. and is consider cheap (only RM100.00++. And the service is excellent. I do like the room because its too small for family. I think staying in Hotel Ibis Mangga Dua is suitable for couple and solo traveler. Hotel located nearest to Pasar Pagi and Mangga Dua Mall. But for my next visit to Jakarta, i will come back to stay there again.

friendly and accommodating staff, clean room and bathroom, accessibility to tourist spots and most especially to shopping malls My husband and I stayed in Hotel Ibis Mangga Dua and at Jogjakarta. The staff knows basic customer skills and in all aspects of this, they have stood up to quality and affordable service making the customers satisfied and for us, we'd always recommend to friends and relatives to stay in ibis hotels.
Travel tip : Taxi drivers in Jakarta and Jogjakarta don't put the meter down when you have reached your destination and the meters goes on until you haven't settled the bill. Tip-once your're in your destination settle, the bill right away to avoid paying more.

Good location. Not too far from the airport. Very near to shopping malls. If looking into buying wholesale, there are 2 malls worth looking into i.e ITC Mangga Dua and Pasar Pagi Mangga Dua. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel spa is terrible and not worth going. The breakfast spread is just yucks! This really needs improving. Also, the cabs that are parked outside the hotel refused to use their meters so insist that they use the meters or just walk out to get a cab. Travel tip : Go to ITC Mangga Dua and Pasar Pagi Mangga Dua if you want to get cheap stuff. Really nice place to shop. 1 day is not enough to cover all the floors.

near shopping center itc mangga dua and mangga dua pasar pagi should have covered walkway or connecting bridge from hotel to harcomas to protect against rain like the one they have at le granduer hotel overall hotel is ok value for money.wood flooring in rooms makes room easier to maintain clealiness.however road leading to hotel should be repaved

Plesent and friendly front desk staff , clean well maintain room and very efficient and acomodating room service . Strong cigarette smoke smell in the bathroom . I booked through Agoda on 14-03-09 and extended another day due to the warm ,friendly and helpful services rendered by the Hotel and not to mention its ideal location , which is walking distance to the popular shopping malls of Mangga Dua. Ibis Hotel will most certainly be first on my list in my next visit to Jkt.
Shopping Tip : No need to look further ! This Hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance to the shopping malls .

i like most the service of your hotel. the environment also good.. hotel ibis mangga was introduce by friend. i never stay at this hotel before even though been visiting Jakarta for several times already. but staying here give me a wonderful experience that i did'nt imagine i can have. Ibis Mangga full with satisfaction and a place to go next time!waiting for chance to stay here again..

room ok and its near to the pasar pagi mangga dua shopping area. the restaurant the environment very dull, the choice of foods. i will introduce the hotel to my friend who are going on the 14 of April 2009. On my next visit to Jakarta sure i will make a booking at this hotel earlier.

Very near to shopping area- just within 5min walking distance~ Pasar pagi manggadua, ITC mangga dua, harcomas. 5 min by taxi~ WTC mangga dua and novotel. There is also 'pasar malam' every day in front of the hotel. Friendly staff with good service Water quality should be watched. Location wise is great as it is located nearby a lot of shopping area such as pasar pagi, harcomas, ITC and a lot more just within walking distance. A bit 'off town' location give an advantage to avoid the traffic jam rather than staying right in the city centre. There are night market(open everyday)in front of the hotel selling all kind of local stuff @ a very cheap price.However be extra carefull of pick pockets, do watch out your belongings. The hotel staff were all friendly and good service as well. Room condition was good, just they need to inspect all rooms before guest check in as my room's lights were all out of order when i checked in. The not so good was the water especially the shower. Sometimes the water was a bit smelly. They really need to sort that out

Very friendly staff and clean environment Limited choice of foods offered by the restaurant The hotel located very near to Mangga Dua Mall...just 5 minutes walking distance...also close to Pasar Pagi Mangga Dua. There is a Bluebird taxi counter just infront of the hotel which be the plus point for the guest. It tooks about 40 minutes to the Jakarta International airport and the room is clean and tidy.

My third time for business trip at Jakarta. Strategic place for short business trips. The hotel staff performed well for room make-up, nice lounge, always smile, no problem about safety & very helpful in terms of place of interest informations. Walking distance the Mangga 2 Mall & a lot choices for shopping with reasonable price. Highly recommended for viewers to stay at Ibis Mangga 2 hotel to observe local cultures morning times. Definitely I will used the same hotel for next trip.

Good price, friendly staff, convenient shopping. The surrounding area is rather drap and the Malls close as early as 6pm. There are not many attractive eating places besides the food court and food stalls in the Mall. I like the hotel as it is comfortable, clean and have friendly staff. And like most people; I agree that this hotel is very convenient to go for a quick shopping holiday. There are a few Shopping Malls nearby mainly for wholesalers but also does retailing. Mangga Dua Mall, Pasar Pagi, (both are 3-5 minutes away), Mangga Square (15 minutes walk). The China Town, and Kota Lama (Old City) is also not far away - 20-30 minutes walk. Train Station is 5 minutes walk away.
Shopping Tip : Many garment and related wholesaler at Pasar Pagi Mall.

first the location is startegic, near the mangga dua square.. but the environment condition near the hotel entrance is dirty, many wild tribesmen under the bridge, it makes me feel unpleased. There is three lift inside the hotel, and only two of them functioned. I don't like the wall paint, because it's white, but many stain and looks not clean. for the bed condition it's ok.... but the towel is smell bad.. Last, i hit one cockroach in the toilet and i threw it to the trash.. hope the hotel can improve their service, specially in cleanliness...
Hotel Feature Tip : please ask the reception to put you in the 12 floor or up if you want the non smoking room.

This is my first time to book hotel online, Overall for Ibis Hotel... It really terrific marvelous.. I stay for 6days & it feel like home... The bed.. The room.. The workers very friendly espcially the security.. The bell boy give many tips in bargain & place to shop.. Hope to stay there again...
It's also near with mangga 2 square.. Mall mangga 2 & itc pasar pagi (Heaven for bargain).
Its also near with Family Spa.. Breakfast.. The food need to improve with new menu..
