This hotel is value for money because the location is only about 500meter to Pasar Mangga Dua.No need to hire a taxi anymore.The Receptionist and bellboy is very helpful.The room condition is very comfort and great.This is the hotel that i prefer if i come again to Jakarta.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ibis Mangga Dua, and found it to be a good base for exploring Jakarta. I particularly enjoyed going for a stroll around the surrounding area in the evening, and my wife was pleased with the shopping opportunities. Overall, a pleasant experience, and I would be happy to return.

I am getting more familiar with the surrounding shopping malls as well as the best place to shop at Pasar Baru. Indeed a great place to stay for business as well as pleasure.

I WAS RATHER FURTUNATE TO HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED TO AGODA BY A COLLEAGUE, ALTHOUGH I HAVE BEEN A FREQUENT VISITOR IN JAKARTA, I NEVER KNEW THAT IBIS MANGGA 2 IS A MUCH BETTER AND COMFORTABLE PLACE TO STAY ESPECIALLY WITH FAMILY.

LOCATED IN WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO THE SHOPPING MALLS WHICH ARE REASONABLE. OUTSIDE FOOD ESPECIALLY STREET HAWKERS ARE FANTASTIC

COMPLIMENTARY DRINKS, FREE TOOTHBRUSH, COMB AND BETTER T.V CHANNEL SHOULD BE PROVIDED...BLOOMBERG, CNN ETC..

• Shopping Tip : ELECTRICAL AND TEXTILE ARE AVAILABLE APLENTY BUT YOU MUST KNOW TO BARGAIN. IMMITATION BAGS ARE AS GOOD AS ORIGINAL, BARGAINING IS ALL WHAT YOU NEED..

We stayed 3 days in the Ibis Hotel Jakarta ( 9.8 - 11.08.08) the Hotel was great! Very nice - central in the Jakarta shopping mall. It was not loud! The Hotel and our room was very very clean and all persons were very friendly to us! Everytime when I had a question I got a great answear and they helped us to solve all problems! I can recommend it...take it to be the best choice. Thanks.

Very cheap hotel, strategic location and comfortable rooms

To be frankl, I can't see the weaknesses during my stay at Ibis Hotel.

• Shopping Tip : Nearby is the Mangga Dua Mall and Pasar Pagi and also it just takes 15 minutes to go to Chempaka Emas that I think is the biggest shopping mall in Jakarta.

This hotel is locating 1 minute from famous huge electronics shopping mall "Mangga Dua Mall" which is similar to Akihabara (Tokyo), Pantip Plaza (Bangkok) or Golden Computer Center (Hong Kong). And, not only electronic appliances, many shopping centers for other goods are integrated to this area. This hotel has quite and well equipped hotel rooms, good restaurant, of course. But, we can enjoy more in surrounding area.
