Service is nice. Staff friendly Facility are not very state of the art I stayed at Hotel Ibis Slipi which is about 40 minutes taxi ride away from the airport. The condition of the hotel is generally ok however there is one thing which I must compliment is the staff are very professional and the service is excellent. I do highly recommend any one who has a tight budget to stay in this hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ciputra Mall which is 10 minute taxi ride away from the hotel. You can buy authentic indonesian snack at the basement 1 of the mall.

very good and friendly staff.
Good location only afew minute from shopping malls.
I was with my wife for our honeymoon on 27 May 2009. We don't have much budget that is why we pick Ibis Slipi.
Both of us was happy with the treatmen given by all of the staff.
service is almost like 5Star service. It is located only afew minute to all the big shopping mall.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : to have tourist information counter so tourist could refer to before going to any places of interest

- hotel is in the city center
- high rooms at front side have nice view over the city
- food in the restaurant is okay - room 403 does not have a very nice view. I just booked the hotel some two hours before I got there. My booking didn't make it to the hotel system on time, but without me even having a booking number (I did not receive email jet also) they found my booking in 10 minutes. Nice service if you ask me. Taxi service is good; Blue Bird taxi's are always on standby at the lobby.
Hotel Feature Tip : Hotel can be hard to reach in bad traffic, but a small back road is much faster, ask your taxi driver to take that road, he will probably know about it. It can save half an hour of waiting in bad traffic.

My choice for this hotel is purely the location + the price. Although the room is relatively clean (for a budget hotel), it's quite small. There is no really interesting place to go in the surrounding and you have to take a cab to go to the nearest shopping area. The access to expressway is convenience but it's a nightmare to return to the hotel in the evenning. There is not much choice on food as there is only 1 cafe in the hotel. However, consider the budget price, it's still acceptable and comfortable. Finally, you need to be very patience when check in and check out. If you are rushing to airport, you better have an early check out.

Reasonably priced and clean room. Not too far from airport or to city centre. Taxis are easily available. Selection of television channels are wide. Kettle is provided in the room and complimentary tea and coffee is available. Improvement is definitely required for breakfast spread. Too few food choices for la-carte menu. Hair dryer and individual safe deposit box to be made available in the room. The hotel is centrally located,not too far from airport i.e about half and hour drive from the airport and quite close to main business centre. Taxi is easily available from the hotel.
Although the room is small, it is comfortable and clean. The room is reasonably price. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided daily. Selection of television channels are more than sufficient to keep one entertain for the night. I think the only set back of the room is that no hair dryer and safe deposit box provided in each room.
The breakfast spread is quite limited. Food is average. Additional choices for a la-carte menu would be ideal.
I have stayed at the hotel many times and would definitely go back and stay. The hotel is suitable for budget traveller!

Strategic location in Kakarta. Easy access to major point of interest Room to small, Bathroom maintenance just ok Good price, nice location. and hotel's crew very good in customer service.
Taxi service always available and realiable. They have a good Taxi Service Company under Blue Bird name, which the best in Indonesia.
Hotel's staff always show their willingness to satisfy customer. Hotel facilities (pool, etc) are enough for accomodate customer for weekend stay in the hotel

-Near city centre and many shopping locations
-Rooms are clean and presentable
-Bath room are clean
-Service is good overall
-Easy to get taxi, they are always outside the hotel
I would recommend this place if you have to be around city centre -No shopping plaza or restaurant within short walking distance
-Pool is in funny location, right in front of the restaurant. It's fine if you want to have every guest there watching you swim. Overall it was good value for what we have paid. It would have been better if they had included Internet wireless in the deal.
It's location is good if you have to be in the city centre(don't want to travel on the taxi too far due to the traffic jam). But there is no restaurant or shopping plaza within walking distance, need to take a cab.
Hotel is clean and service is overall good. I like the design of each floor where there is a corner sitting place where you can have a small meeting there.

Value for money, the most comfortable bed i ever sleep in my life, great housekeeping with reliable & friendly service. Convenient to get cab around 24 by 7. It is not situated in a walking distance from the shopping centres & restaurant. You have to take a cab for entertainment. IBIS makes you feel more like home. A great place to stay in Jakarta & you will have this place again when you visit this country again. Helpful, reliable & friendly service makes you smile in your trip there. Blue Bird cab is always there to bring you around safely. A stay you will always praise.
Shopping Tip : Visit Block M Shopping Centre for trendy stuff & Senayan Shopping Centre for branded goods.

staff not professional enough we booked 3 rooms, unfortunately only 2 rooms were available when we reach there. we had to wait for almost 3 hours to get hold of the third room and that is after i called them 3 times and finally i had to wait at the front desk and talk to 3 different staffs.

Clean room, great price, location nothing for a good budget hotel We were at the high floor this time and it was great. decent view of Jakarta, the sitting area in the hallway has great view. The room was very clean and nice. we are never disappointed by this hotel and you can't beat the price and quality for its price.

big lobby, relaxing pool area, good location we booked three rooms for two nights. overall the rooms are small but the bed is comfortable. one of the room was a twin beded room, so we have to push the beds together to accommodate my young family members. to bad the hotel did not provide breakfast as we choose the 'best deal rate'.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : it is along the main highway to puncak and bandung. so for traveller this is a plus point as you could avoid the traffic jam.

i found the hotel's location very convenient as is very close to the airport.we didn't arrive till about 1am and the staff were very helpful and sent us in the right direction to a nightclub nearby called the shangri la, all in all a very pleasant stay. i would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel
